Deletion

edit

The deletion process can be confusing. The tag that was originally on the article was for a "PROD" (Wikipedia:Proposed deletion). This "is the way to suggest that an article is uncontroversially a deletion candidate, but that it does not meet the more stringent criteria for speedy deletion," and can be removed if an editor objects. What you opened up was the "AfD" process (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion). You got it mostly right but in the future, see WP:AFDHOWTO for a step by step guide. The tag needed to be added to the article and the original contributor should have been notified. I added the tag and it looks like the creator is aware of the discussion. I am also figuring out the deletion sorting thing so nothing further is needed from you at this time.Cptnono (talk) 02:04, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
