editHello. I noticed your edit to the WP:WikiProject Nova Scotia page.

Most of my edits are minor corrections when I happen to catch them, so I don't perform a lot of editing. I will be reading an article for whatever reason, and I'll come across a typo, formatting error, or some other issue that I find distracting. Other Wikipedians take on more serious tasks.
Occasionally the edit I meant to perform becomes a bigger project than I anticipated, or I'm unsure of how I should proceed. I learn a lot in the process of research/inquiry. One tool that I find indispensable is the Show preview button. Note, Preview mode will not save your changes—if you leave the page you're working on before you publish your changes, the changes will be lost (see Help:Show preview).
You also have at your disposal a user sandbox with which you can save edits you're working on without having them go live on an article. You can also use your sandbox to design a custom signature or prebuild a User page (as I am presently doing).
