1.    First, what does the article do well? Is there anything from your review that impressed you? Any turn of phrase that described the subject in a clear way?

I like how neutral your article is, and how your introduction has all the synonyms your Rhododendron atlanticum goes by. I also enjoy how detailed the Uses section is, especially about its fragrance. The hybrid section is also quite enjoyable to read, and I like the "Candy Lights" and other names of the variations of this tree. Your article remains neutral, but interesting and fun to read.''''

2.    What changes would you suggest the author apply to the article? Why would those changes be an improvement?

Grammar needs to be checked. For example, replace "showy" with something like "charismatic" or "attractive". Other grammar issues include italicizing the Latin names in all the sections. More information is needed throughout the article, such as specific animals that feed on the tree, adding the animals or pest insects into one section, such as the Uses section, etc. For example, the leaf beetles need to go in the Uses section as well as they Hybridization section. Soil types and growing conditions/US Hardiness Zones would be a nice addition.

3.    What's the most important thing the author could do to improve the article?

Adding more sources and expand the article. It isn't detailed enough and needs some more information. More information that's concise will help the article be longer and more detailed. More information about it's historical significance and role in the ecosystem would help immensely.

4.    Did you notice anything about the article you reviewed that could be applicable to your own article? Let them know!

I really enjoyed how organized the Taxonomy section was, so I'd like to incorporate that into my article, and the disease resistant/ hybrid sections. I'd like to incorporate something like those sections into my article. KatieABees173 (talk) 01:13, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
