WikiProject Mizzou

edit

Hello, I noticed you've made edits to University of Missouri articles or that you are in some way connected to the University of Missouri. I thought you might want to become a member of the Mizzou WikiProject. We've recently built the project page and started a drive to improve Mizzou related articles. Please take a look to edit an article or add one of your own. Once an article's status has been agreed upon, feel free to stop by and lend a hand in getting it to featured article status. Hope you can participate!

Pi Kappa Phi

edit

Thank you for your edits to the Pi Kappa Phi article! — ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 04:21, 29 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Would you be interested in helping me rewrite the history section. Also, eventually I would like to see this article reach "featured article" status and I need all the help I can get. Are you interested in helping with any of this? — ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 04:28, 29 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ok, that's not a problem. I can help with the formatting issues and we can split up the writing. Do you have a copy of the Pi Kappa Phi history book, The Brotherhood? — ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 06:09, 8 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Also, do you have a free-license picture of your chapter house? I'm looking for pictures for the List of Pi Kappa Phi chapters article. Thanks. — ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 08:10, 8 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jonases

edit

Why did you censor my edit to the Jonas brothers talk page? Just because you're a fan doesn't give you a right to censor my information. 76.1.48.210 (talk) 02:55, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I didn't remove the edits because I am a fan. I reverted you edits because the Talk:Jonas Brothers page isn't a forum for opinions. It's place to discuss problems with the article or ideas for ways to improve it. Tigermike83 (talk) 19:47, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Missouri School of Journalism

edit

Hi, I have been working with the editor Grey Wanderer in order to get this information updated. I work for the MU Office of Planning and Communications and we need this information to stay up. We pulled it from our own website and re-wrote the language so that it wasn't biased or a direct copy-paste. Please let me know what needs to happen to get this reinstated so that it will remain on the page. Thanks, Angela Indigosmashy (talk) 21:30, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, that's my fault. I didn't look close enough at it to see that it was rewritten. If you're working with Grey Wanderer then I'm sure that it was ok. I've put the information back up there and I'll keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't happen again. If there is anything I can do to help with the page feel free to let me know. Oh, okay! No problem. Thanks for letting me know. I'm all for following the guidelines so if I do post anything that's not quite right, do let me know. I'm going to be overhauling that whole page over the next few weeks. Thanks for your help! Indigosmashy (talk) 18:18, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Photos on Missouri School of Journalism

edit

Hi there! I reached out to Grey Wanderer about this but haven't heard back, so I thought I would try you: I'd like to replace the photos that are on our page with some better and more current ones. could you tell me how to upload them? I see how to place the photos on the page but I don't see a place for uploading. Thanks so much!173.26.231.253 (talk) 17:03, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I wish I could help you with that, but that is one of the few things I don't know how to do. Grey Wanderer is probably the best person to ask how. Let me know if there is something else I can do.Tigermike83 (talk) 01:38, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
