Request reason:
I am at a university IP address and am not a Sockpuppet. I am aware of colleagues at this university have attempted to make similar edits in relation to recent important developments of public and intellectual interest associated with an individual who has a Wikipedia entry. I asked the Administrator who blocked me to give details as to why the edits I made were disallowed. They were all backed up with references and seemed in keeping with Wikipedia policy. I did not receive an answer but was immediately blocked. This does not seem natural or fair. From my point of view it seems to be an avoidance of my query. The Administrator expressed some frustration at my inexperience at using the talk feature of Wikipedia.
I'd like to be unblocked and I'd like someone in authority to reconsider the rejection of the edits I made or otherwise give me guidance as to the detailed nature of any non-compliance with Wikipedia policy. I may have missed something, but I can't see how my edits were in non-compliance with the rules that were pointed out to me by the Administrator. If my university and I are unblocked I would like a different Administrator to consider any future edits I amy make if this is possible.
Decline reason:
