Ebionites 3 closing

I'm very sorry for creating work for you. I followed the instructions at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Clerks/Procedures#Managing and closing cases fairly literally, but obviously I either didn't understand certain parts of the instructions or the instructions need updating for the uninitiated (me).

I looked at your changes and understood some of them. The comments thing never made any sense that it should be included on the main case page final decision, but the procedures don't say to delete them. I'm not sure I understand the change to the implementation notes template. I also noticed that after you were done, proposed principle #5 (criticism and casting aspersions) doesn't make sense.

The standard enforcement thing on the main page is not even addressed in the instructions.

As of now, have points #1 through #8 on the clerk procedures page under closing a case been completed? I hate to burden you further because you're not a clerk. If you prefer, I can address the rest on the clerks mailing list. I was composing a message just as I noticed what you'd done, so I came here first. I volunteered to do this yesterday but that was before I got only about 3 hours' sleep, so I'm a bit tired.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:17, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Regarding your protecting Template:8ball with permanent protection

Hello. I have a question about why you had protected Template:8ball with permanent protection back in January of this year. The reasoning that you had stated was that it is a "highly-transcluded template"; the template has only 66 transclusions. In addition, most, if not all, of the rest of the templates listed on Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SPI/Tools have semi-protection. In addition, I saw the reason why you protected the template: vandalism by an IP. At best, I would think that at this point, semi-protection would be appropriate, like all of the other SPI templates? Blocking of User:Today's Xtra

Hi, I noticed you blocked User:Today's Xtra and User:Here2HelpWiki indefinitely. They are users I have helped at the Teahouse a bit. Can I ask why? I cannot see any disruptive behaviour in their histories. If it is a case of suspected sockpuppetry, they have stated that they are roomates, and therefore share an IP address. --LukeSurl t c 11:19, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

These accounts are linked to a previously blocked sockfarm. T. Canens (talk) 20:07, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
OK, thanks. *Sigh*. I and a lot of other Teahouse volunteers spent a lot of time and effort trying to help these users. Disheartening to know it was all a ruse. --LukeSurl t c 20:38, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
