Cavenaghi edit
editHey! I hope I'm not "posting silly" here. Just wanted to tell you I know that does figures should only include league matches/goals, but they have been changed repeatedly of late and I didn't know how else to emphasize the fact.

Ogiopoly (or something like that)
editAmong your requested articles, I noticed the above one. This word does not exist. Oligopoly does and has already been covered. Accordingly, I removed the related requested article so others don't go on a wild goose chase. Sympa 17:14, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Heh that wasn't me who requested it, I asked if they had mispelt it too --Tiresais 14:59, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Welcome
editHi, i noticed you haven't been welcomed by a Wikipedia admin. i'm not one, but i'd like to say "welcome!", too. :) i found the articles you created on Three Kingdom characters. And i'd just like to give you a few tips.
- We as editors need not leave our names on the article page itself. All edits will be recorded in the history page of the article.
- It is a good idea to place a stub notice (like this: {{stub}}) if you newly create an article which is still short and incomplete. There are other stub notices for specific purposes, such as {{China-stub}}, {{China-bio-stub}}, {{history-stub}} etc. For more info on stubs, see Wikipedia:Stub.
Hope to see more contributions from you! --Plastictv 16:01, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Oh thanks for the information, sorry if you've had to clean up after my poor wiki'ing...--Tiresais 17:09, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
Stop, thief! ;o)
editYeah, go ahead and steal all the code etc you want of my totally original work. Just don't tell Sango123 who mysteriously had the same design as me several months before I did. Oddly. :o) ➨ ❝REDVERS❞ 19:33, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Daniel Alves speculation
editRe: "The source is valid. Shevchenko's article contained Chelsea speculation for a long time, so can this. The source contains comments from the President. Do not remove again please."
- Firstly, two wrongs never make a right, so if you see one badly edited article it is not an excuse for badly editing another. Secondly, I agree that this is a much more substantive source article. Thirdly this is completely different to what I originally removed and if you had put that back I would have removed it. aLii 17:59, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware it was wrong, the sources used in both places were similar (the same wbesite in fact). Plus, the Shevchenko was much closely monitored and passed the test, which would suggest taht there seemed no problem with it. It wasn't completely different, both were the same website. I wouldn't of put it in and sourced it if it was an unreliable website. As shown, they are obviously reliable on that case.--Tiresais 14:11, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
I'm going to have to say I am not very good at mediation. However, you might want to know that Anonymous users can and have been brought for arbitration. If the warring actually affects the page significantly, it can be protected until the dispute calms down. What is that dispute exactly about? It can be resolved easily if it falls under verifiability, for example. Circeus 20:37, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
fyi, have proded the above on WP:NOT a directory, there's already bio page, just a link to the source for appearances would probably do. ben ⇒ bsnowball 10:08, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well that table was originally on the main page. I had done a similar thing for Grabowski and it was moved to a different space, so did the same there heh.--Tiresais 12:02, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Željko Kalac International Appearances
editAn editor has nominated Željko Kalac International Appearances, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Željko Kalac International Appearances and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Jayden54Bot 21:54, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- Not my problem, I only moved the information in question out of the player's man article because I felt it wasn't necessary. --Tiresais 14:25, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Jürgen Grabowski's international record
editHi!Thanks for your work on this topic. Much appreciated. But don't you think we could implement it on the Grabowski article? So long, keep up the good work! Regards -Lemmy- 16:06, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- See the comments about Kalac's record. I'm not sure whether havng it on the main page would add to the article. It seems information that only someone really interested in the specifics of his career could use, rather than the usual viewer who would like a brief overview. The information is from the RSSF anyway, so it's hardly my work. Thanks for the recognition tho :) --Tiresais 00:35, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- I saw the comment after posting ;-) Maybe we could do it at least like it's done on Naohiro Takahara. -Lemmy- 07:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well we could, but that only includes his international goals. I guess only including the matches he scores in won't make the article unnecessarily long...--Tiresais 17:24, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Javier Chevantón
editSorry about your edit 4 years ago. Your content of Javier Chevantón's Monaco career is totally wrong and un-sourced. He is relatively fit in the fist season but a nightmare in second second season. [1] Matthew_hk tc 15:26, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, the reference for the paragraph about Chevantón's injuries comes from this website [2], not sure why I didn't add the reference, but regardless I have never made a habit of adding ill-sourced material, so I suggest that in the future you take a less aggressive tone.--Tiresais (talk) 10:35, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
- Possibly you did add the reference, but GFDB is a wiki-scrape (most of their content is 'autoharvested' from Wikipedia) and therefore not valid as a reliable source. --ClubOranjeT 11:19, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Grabowski.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Grabowski.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 13:57, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

editHello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Calypso music may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Disambiguation link notification for September 28
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Calypso music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Cowley (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for your contributions
editI know that you have been contributing to Wikipedia for sometime, but I just recently started following your contributions as they relate to the TT Pro League and football players that have started their careers in the league, such as Marcus Joseph. I greatly appreciate the diligent work that you have made in regards to association football in the Caribbean. I am looking forward to seeing more of your contributions to Wikipedia and specifically players within the TT Pro League. Thanks again. Mppemberton (talk) 20:54, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Westside Superstarz
editHello Tiresais,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Westside Superstarz for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Zeke Sonxx (Whine) 01:27, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
Deleted article
editHey, I deleted the article because right now there wasn't enough to really firmly establish notability. I think that it'd be best to continue to work on it in your userspace and then move it out once you're finished working on it. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:10, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

TT Pro League
editTiresais, I joined the forum at Soca Warriors Online this summer. However, with school back in session I have been limited on the amount of time spent and posts in the forum. It is very nice that you have noticed and appreciate the work on Wikipedia that has gone into Trinidadian football. I joined Wikipedia in 2008 and transformed and significantly expanded information on the TT Pro League. A majority of the information that is contained in the Wikipedia articles can be attributed to the work you and others on the forum in keeping the rest of the world informed on Trinidadian football. Thank you so much! (User:Mppemberton (talk) 20:12, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 7
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited A.C. Port of Spain, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Brian Armstrong and Aaron Johnson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
