editKhushiyaan Khushiyaan is an Indian family film shot in Punjabi with little English, directed by Tirlok Malik, starring Jasbir Jassi, Tisca Chopra, Kulbushan Kharbanda, Rama Vij, Master Shrey Bawa and Deep Dhillon. The film is produced by Darshan Garg, D.P.Goyal and Pradeep Bansal. The theatrical trailer premièred with Deol’s Yamla Pagla Deewana and the film is releasing soon. It is in the news for its an impressive quote as “Every family has a journey…What’s Yours?”.

But he is haunted by a lingering feeling that he must return to his small village in Punjab to make peace with his aging father whom he greatly admires.

editDIRECTOR’S STATEMENT ON THE FILM “KHUSHIYAAN” BY TIRLOK MALIK
Every person has an emotional journey with their family and all relationships around. All emotions are universal but yet each one of us has a personal experience. A personal point of view looking at moments…moments which can stir every cell in your body…moments that can take you deep into feelings…feelings you do not dare to think. Through this film I invite all of you to explore with me …Is your heart at the right place?
Director
editTIRLOK MALIK, a New York Emmy award nominated film maker, a pioneer in making films on Indian American themes. Malik is Graduate of New York academy of theatrical arts, the Weist Barron school of Television and the Actor's institute. His work as a Producers-Actor has been acclaimed in the international Media including, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, New York Times etc. His film LONELY IN AMERICA has featured in 37 international film festivals wining many awards and was shown in 74 countries around the world.
He was born in Punjab and now lives in New York. And with film KHUSHIYAAN, he returns to Punjab to make this film. His wish is to take Punjabi Cinema to the International level.
Producers
editKanhaiya Film production is co-founded by producers Mr. Darshan Garg, D.P Goyal and Pardeep Bansal. They are three good friends living in Bathinda (Punjab) who understand and appreciate the value of family relationships.
Hence they want to make meaningful entertaining Cinema and their children Dipanshu Goyal, Anil Garg, Sanket Garg, Sumit Garg and Puneet Bansal also join them as associate producers. They all are committed to produce good quality Punjabi films.
