Rasulid Turkic origin & claimed Ghassanid origin
editWe need sources, preferably academic, for any of this. We shouldn't use our own reasoning, that's forbidden as original research. Doug Weller talk 15:55, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
You need to learn to do inline citations
editWith page numbers if it's a book. See the videos at Wikipedia:Meetup/UMassAmherst/Intro to Wikipedia. Very busy so can't respond any more right now. I take your point about Mahoney? being the only English source. Doug Weller talk 16:42, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Veli Bey
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Veli Bey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2602:306:3357:BA0:6CF6:7C63:5A5:55BB (talk) 18:27, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
Merger discussion for Kurds in Hebron
editAn article that you have been involved in editing—Kurds in Hebron—has been proposed for merging with another article. If you are interested, please participate in the merger discussion. Thank you. Icewhiz (talk) 12:14, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
Whatever you were trying to do on that article, please don't do it again. You simply copied and pasted, thereby deleting the history of the article. Moreover, such a move (which is what it is, in the end) needs to find consensus. You can try to get that on the talk page, or via WP:RM. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 19:37, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
