Asmita Resource Centre for Women

edit

A tag has been placed on Asmita Resource Centre for Women, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Asmita Resource Centre for Women and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Benon (talk) 17:34, 26 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have added {{ Underconstruction }} to the top of the page for you to stop it being speedily deleted again, please feel free to add content and remove it when you are done. Unfortunately articles which are created that are very short or just have a link are usually speedily delted because most of them are done in bad faith and I apologise for tagging a page you where working on. Hopefully these links should help you on wikipedia and if you ever need any help feel free to contact me here.

'Role' account

edit

I do not wish to make you feel at all unwelcome, as you are clearly acting in good faith, but it has come to my attention that you may be running a role (shared) account. This is not permitted by Wikipedia policy, and I recommend creating a separate account for each student. I am referring to your comments here, and I may be mistaken. If so, I apologise in advance. I am telling you this in order to give you time to resolve the problem and to warn you that you may get blocked if this continues, as many users are more trigger-happy than I. I believe there are circumstances when role accounts may be acceptable, and when I check those, I will get back to you. Just a friendly nudge. For further advice, drop me a line...... Dendodge .. A quick look at the meta role accounts page tells me that this use is not a permitted one, and that you will need to create separate accounts to avoid a block, sorry...... Dendodge .. TalkHelp 11:30, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ditto from me, by creating separate user accounts it also ensures that everyone gets proper attribution to their work through the GDFL. Please continue contributing to wikipedia we always need the help :). If you need any more help on this and I or Den isn't around adding {{helpme}} to this page will attract another wikipedian to swing by and help. We have had several successful class editing projects, you can read about them here. All the best Benon (talk) 11:40, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
