Article Evaluation

The article I chose to review is Slavery in Africa. As I was reading the article, I did notice that the article was very long and had too much information in the article, which makes sense considering the topic is a fairly large one. It started discussing the different forms of slavery that happened throughout Africa and then leads to the certain areas of Africa where slavery was relevant. Lastly, it ends with the abolition of slavery and the affects it had on the European economy. The tone was set very neutral and unbiased, which is surprising for an article that discusses slavery. After checking the facts that were referenced, the citations that I clicked on all brought me to reliable sources, although I would prefer to stick with peer journals and websites ending with "org". Overall, the article was very informative but also had a lot to mention considering the topic.Tmhoeger (talk) 01:33, 26 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Tia Peer review

edit

Hello Tia, 1. I like that the article is separated by different sections so you able to glimpse through the page without having to read the whole article. I like that you created a content tab, so you wouldn't have to scroll through the page. 2. The changes you can do to improve this article is finding out more history on Christine Obbo because I didn't see any added background information on her. 3. Add more information 4. I noticed you separated your topics and made a contents tab. I'm thinking about switching my layout so my topics can be straightforward. 5. no additional comments — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alena1417 (talkcontribs) 23:46, 29 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
