editWelcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Law of war are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. There may be people who work (for the UN or USA) with the war law at wiki page "talk:law of war". How can I get in touch with those people. Please help Tng888 (talk) 11:34, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
- This is not what Wikipedia talk pages are for. They are only for discussing improvements to the articles, not for.discussing the general topic. My best suggestion is to contact your parliamentary representative, as they are responsible for making laws and treaties in your country. BilCat (talk) 19:23, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Law of war for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 19:19, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
