Entry Number of Monster Hunter Rise
editThe game's status as a mainline entry is strongly contested. Internal communications which were part of Capcom's Data Leak in late 2020 list the title as MH NS and instead label a yet unannounced game in 2023 as Monster Hunter 6. Capcom themselves have never stated MH Rise is a mainline entry (and it follows from the usual cycle that it'd be closer to a Portable entry despite lacking the moniker itself, or a separate spin-off like MH Generations was). While leaked documents and twitter posts about them might be dubious sources the twitter claim about Capcom's internal labelling is matched by the referred document, which can be found in the now public Capcom Ragnar Leaks. While labelling it an entry in the portable line or a spin-off might be too much of an unfounded claim, the game is not only also unsupported as a mainline entry but also has support against. 167.88.56.195 (talk) 04:12, 2 May 2021 (UTC) araveugnitsuga
- Thank you for explaining your edits; I have removed the sentence. In the future, you may want to explain this in your edit summary — rather than removing it because it needs a citation (which does not mention factual accuracy, just verifiability), you may want to say that it's disputed whether it's a mainline game. Sorry about reverting your edit! Tol | Talk | Contribs 17:42, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
RedWarn false positive
editHi! You reverted this edit on Hated in the Nation with RedWarn, but it's a good faith attempt to correct content which was factually in error, with an accurate edit summary, and the reason it was wrong (as was the original) is specific minutiae of the episode. As such, that's not the sort of thing to revert with RedWarn. Instead, leave it to someone else to check for factual accuracy (I had to look at the episode again to make the correction) or, if you have familiarity with the topic, check the factual accuracy yourself. Thanks! — Bilorv (talk) 23:45, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- My apologies! I had watched the episode and distinctly remember that the hashtag used was "#DeathTo" (followed by the person referenced), which led me to believe that the previous revision was accurate. Thank you so much for catching my mistake! — Tol | Talk | Contribs 00:13, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, I thought you were just a patroller. No worries. This is really getting into the weeds but I thought #DeathToJoPowers might be right because I recalled that some displays showed hashtags #DeathToMichaelCallow and such trending (whether that's people actually tweeting "#DeathTo Michael Callow" or "#DeathToMichaelCallow" and whether the latter counts towards the game isn't clear). But Blue briefly shows the tweet to Karin as they're approaching the teacher's school and it's "#DeathTo @JoPowersWriter". — Bilorv (talk) 00:31, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- That makes sense; again, thank you for the clarification! Tol | Talk | Contribs 03:10, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Sparkle
editHi, I've noticed some of your Sparkle tests and am quite curious about it. First of all {{Book prod}} is probably the thing that should be lowest on your priority list. No one uses it (the exception being this month were we've had some major cleanup of the namespace) and I'm not sure it will exist in a few months time. I'm also curious what Sparkle will do better than twinkle and if it perhaps would be better to dedicate the time and energy spent on developing sparkle would be better spent improving Twinkle (They have a good and active GitHub. It went very smoothly when I used it.) --Trialpears (talk) 21:01, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Trialpears: Thanks for letting me know! As for book proposed deletions, {{Prod}} automatically changes itself to a {{Book-prod}} if it's on a user page (where I have been testing it). Sparkle is currently much faster than Twinkle for proposed deletions, as (for me) it takes ~2–3 seconds compared with Twinkle's ~5–8 seconds (it makes all of the edits simultaneously instead of sequentially). This (currently) comes at the expense of not having much logic. I'm working on getting it to have much better logic than Twinkle (which detects old prods and existing prod templates) without sacrificing too much speed. As for improving Twinkle instead, I decided on making my own version so that it can be precisely how I want it — in terms of UI (not a popup, and using OOUI) and code (so that I know exactly how it works). I'm not entirely sure how Twinkle works, and it's gigantic; Sparkle is intended primarily for my use (though it's available for anyone who wants to use it). I hope this makes sense! - Aha prods transforming in user space explains a lot of things (I've been following that category and seen a lot of weird user pages ending up there). Twinkle is absolutely huge, but the individual modules (tagging, xfd, welcome, prod, block, etc) are decently manageable. If you want to help out there I'm sure there will be nice people around to help. If you want to have a large scale deployment you will also probably want to make sure it's quite fool proof and detecting old prods is quite essential, but for personal use it looks like quite a nice script! Good luck! PS: I really like the name --Trialpears (talk) 21:50, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- Alright, thank you! (I spent far too long picking a name because something's original name tends to remain in use; I'm glad you like it!) Tol | Talk | Contribs 22:03, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

TolBot
editHi Tol! Looks like your bot inadvertently messed up the formatting at Template:COVID-19 vaccination data - I have reverted the changes. CaffeinAddict (talk) 17:24, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
- @CaffeinAddict: Ack. Looks like OWID added more non-country rows; I'll fix that. Thanks! Tol | Talk | Contribs 17:28, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

Question from Rayhan Shoshi (12:00, 30 May 2021)
"Rayhan shoshi" --Rayhan Shoshi (talk) 12:00, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

I suggest doing this with the article wizard, which will walk you through the article creation process. This is the English Wikipedia, though, so the article must be in English for it to be published. You may want to start an article on the Bengali Wikipedia.
