Understanding I have an innate conflict of interest about the subject of Nicolette Johnson, I can see why this page was deleted - but the content was not promotional at all, it was factual and free of peacock language, backed up by sources from reputable national art galleries. Have I poisoned the well by making this page and if someone else makes it eventually, it will also be deleted as self-promotion if they use the same sources and information?

As the article was written it was promotional, not written in encyclopedic language and lacked sufficient independent third party references to establish Wikipedia:Notability (people). If a new article is written by someone else that addresses those issues it will be kept. - Ahunt (talk) 23:48, 7 March 2023 (UTC)

Ah, no problem. The process of creating an encyclopedia is naturally a bit messy. That bothers some people, but I have been here for 18 years and you get used to the vagaries of the process after a bit. - Ahunt (talk) 00:28, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
