The article Wompkees has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no evidence of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 04:54, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Tom, I've replied to your question at WP:New contributors' help page. You can learn more about reference formatting at WP:References. You can learn more about what kind of references we consider appropriate at WP:Reliable sources. You can read about what we're looking for in terms of whether this subject is notable enough for Wikipedia at [[WP:Notability[[. Lots of reading, I know, but I think things will be clearer when you've waded thru it. I'm unclear fro now on whether the article meets the notability guidelines, but after you've read WP:Notability you'll have a better idea than me, as well as better ideas on where to find more reliable sources. Good luck. if you have any specific questions after reading those links, don't hesitate to ask. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:08, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Tom. I reformatted all the references last night for full attribution. I did so in the hope you'd follow by example. I think you can easily take a look at the heavy lifting I've done with the previous references to reformat the two references you added today as naked links, and do the same for future references, which would improve the article. Just take a look at the code I added inside of the reference tags and copy the form and fill in the parameters.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:23, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
