Hey Tom,

My name is Denis J Quilligan Jr. I was a former member of the band Salvation. Aka Denis from Salvation. I would agree with you on every aspect of your criticism of the Jersey Shore Sound Wikipedia listing. Thank you for the recognition of Salvation and our impact on the music scene back in our time. You are right about Holme as well. Salvation has had 2 reunions in recent times. One with the full band in 2006 celebrating the 60th birthday of the Osprey. The second was just recently held this summer on August 24th 2014 at the Osprey but without drummer Arnett and lead singer Chuck Guy. Chuck passed away in late 2006 and Arnett in 2007. Both shows packed the Osprey with more than 800 die hard ready to party fans. I sang a bunch of songs that Chuck made so very popular along with ones that were my songs to be remembered by. All of the other guys sang their crowd pleasers. After the 2006 show I met a gal I had dated in 1976 and ended up married and living back in Jersey in Shark River Hills in Neptune Township. I have been writing blues and country music and have a band of retirees. I go by Asbury Slim these days. I released an indie blues CD in 2010 that is still selling well via the Internet especially in the European market. I have a country music trilogy that I plan to officially release soon although the songs are on many of the internet music websites already. You can hear many of my songs at: www.broadjam.com/asbury-slim also www.reverbnation.com/sharkriverproductions Some of the songs are rough demos and some are studio quality. Play Something Country. ...That's All and Hitchiking Down The Parkway are both currently on the Broadjam.com Top Ten Country Boogie List. Hitchiking Down The Parkway is a true Jersey Shore song about Asbury Park during the Springsteen era.

HEY THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR INPUT
