I don't understand this template, but it would be nice if the image linked to the animated spinning image, like the image in truncated cube should have a link to Image:Truncatedhexahedron.gif, so that the link can be taken out of the See also section. — Omegatron 03:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Documentation and SVG

Hi Tomruen,

I just attempted (and failed) to convert {{Reg polyhedra db}} to use the SVG equivalents to the JPG images it's using at the moment. I'm not sure what went wrong, but it would be nice to use the SVG versions per Category:Wikipedia images available as SVG.

Additionally, since the template doesn't look very nice when viewed as the template alone, and personally, I found the documentation quite hard to find, it might be an idea to transclude the documentation into the template page, in a similar way to (for example) Template:Citation.

I'd try and do both of these myself, but I have no experience in editing templates, and what I did think was fairly simple failed quite miserably, so I'll leave it to someone with more experience… me_and 10:14, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

I viewed Regular_icosahedron via mobile & found that the table image is inexplicably a JPG. Tracking it here w/ some difficulty, it seems something reverted since the above discussion. Could you check? TSamuel (talk) 13:28, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

Disambiguating "hyperbolic plane" in Uniform hyperbolic tiles template

Hello Tomruen, I have been disambiguating hyperbolic plane. Template:Uniform hyperbolic tiles db has many references to hyperbolic plane. These templates show up in many articles and cause links to hyperbolic plane which is a disambiguation page. I would propose the following change to the edit code of this template page:

Change every occurance of [ [ hyperbolic plane ] ] to [ [ Hyperbolic geometry | hyperbolic plane ] ]

That would get rid of all the ambiguous links. I would not dream of doing this myself because I am not sure of all the implications. Perhaps we want to leave it ambiguous?

By the way, you are apparently one of the caretakers of all the gorgeous geometric diagrams in Wikipedia. Well done sir!

Left margin on polyhedron tables

I'm trying to add some spacing on the left margin of the polyhedron stat tables, but I'm having some trouble making it work. See for example Pentagonal hexecontahedron: the left margin of the table is 0, which makes the text squish too closely to it. I added style="margin-left: 1em" to Template:Semireg_dual_polyhedron_stat_table and it seems to work on the template page, but not in the original article. Weird bold text on prismatic polyhedra

The templates for prismatic polyhedra, as the one seen here, have a very strong bold on the title, which doesn't match with the rest of the templates, and seems somewhat unprofessional IMO.
