WLE Malta
Hello ToniSant, do you know about any plans that Malta participate in Wiki Loves Earth 2022 contest? or is that discarded? I ask because I've a lot of underwater images of good quality and wonder whether I should wait to upload them. Thank you! --Poco2 16:59, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Poco a poco: There are no solid plans for Malta to participate in Wiki Loves Earth 2022, yet. However, I say yet because this may change over the coming weeks as we move into a new way for the user group to plan ahead beyond 2022. It may very well be that 2022 become the year that Malta joint WLE. So, I'd say hold on for a few more weeks until it's 100% sure whether Malta will be in WLE 2022 or not. Thanks!
- @Poco a poco: You'll be very happy to hear that Wikimedia Community Malta is about to launch WLE 2022 in Malta this Sunday. Details will be here. Enjoy! --ToniSant (talk) 11:52, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

Create some car manufacturer pages on Maltese Wikipedia
@ToniSant Hi, since you are a native Maltese speaker please can you create some pages for different car manufacturers on Maltese Wikipedia, at least the most important ones which are missing there. ThanksA TUZI (talk) 20:30, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for your request. I'm more than happy to support your contributions on this topic. I will not be creating any pages on this topic myself as my own priority list is rather long and includes other topics that are equally, if not more, relevant to my own encyclopedic interests. I'll look out for ways to help out with your own contributions. -- ToniSant (talk) 10:10, 15 October 2022 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:11, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
Women in Red 8th Anniversary | |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
