Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "TonyBalony925", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it closely resembles the username of TonyBallioni (talk · contribs), who is an established editor and administrator on Wikipedia. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Mz7 (talk) 08:52, 20 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi TonyBalony925. Just to follow up, I don't see this as a huge deal, as it's a very borderline case. If you wish to keep your username the way it is, I have no loud objections. In the event that other editors confuse the two of you, one alternative solution is to add a note to your user page distinguishing yourself from TonyBallioni. In any case, I want to repeat: welcome to Wikipedia! If you have any questions about contributing, my talk page is always open for any user to contact me.   All the best, Mz7 (talk) 05:26, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
I don't mind the name staying the same-- the numbers make it hard to confuse for me. I would appreciate a brief note saying you aren't me on user page, but I don't see a need for a name change. I just hope you enjoy Wikipedia and decide to stay after your class project. TonyBallioni (talk) 05:34, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
