Hello TA, from Portugal,
I apologize for the hysterical summary, but my actions were 100% correct. People have been (give or take a year) inserting wrong information in this footballer's infobox, I (account and no account combined) have been here for nine years, I knew exactly what I was doing, but I admit my summary could very well have taken you aback.
Attentively, sorry for any inconvenience --84.90.219.128 (talk) 01:03, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- Hi there, I'm afraid that it wasn't just the summary that caused this misunderstanding. The fact you'd also altered the date was quite strange and lead me to think more likely than not you were either making a test edit or vandalising. I've corrected the date, thanks for explaining. Tony Abigail (talk) 01:05, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- I see. I corrected the date in the chart below because Mr. Traoré's last game for Villa in that chart (keep in mind, in the current chart he only has three games in all competitions, whereas in box he already is full updated) was played on 26 September 2015. But OK, it stays like you inserted. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 01:16, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- To clarify the purpose this section it is to state on what date that part of the page was edited, not when the actual statistics were changed. Tony Abigail (talk) 01:18, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

Tony Abigail - I've been patrolling recent changes and fighting vandalism for years, and I have to say -- I'm quite impressed with your diligence and your contributions to fighting vandalism so far.
Your account is less than a few days old, and you've already demonstrated quite an extensive knowledge towards patrolling recent changes, fighting vandalism, and the proper use of the tools involved with such. Please keep it up. And do not hesitate to message me if you need help or have any questions. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:21, 9 December 2015 (UTC) |
Speedy deletion nomination of Virginie Tribut
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Virginie Tribut requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —C.Fred (talk) 22:22, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

editWhy did you reversed the changes that were just made. They are documented and justified Tecmo (talk) 23:06, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- Please go ahead and restore your edits it wasn't those that I was concerned about I was concerned that the IP edits were possibly nonsense. Tony Abigail (talk) 23:07, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
Please explain this edit
edit[1]. --Floquenbeam (talk) 23:29, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- I noticed that someone had removed the retired tag he put there. Tony Abigail (talk) 23:33, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- That's really interesting; that page had not been edited since you created this account. How did you happen to run across it? --Floquenbeam (talk) 23:38, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
Reverting
editHi Tony, or Abigail. I see you are relatively new to Wikipedia and, while I agree with you that editing other people's comments is a bad idea, we still are able to edit our own. Thanks for self-reverting, and well done finding your way to Wales' talk page within your first 250 edits! pablo 23:45, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Pablo X. Yes I do understand that but I thought you were editing someone else's comment rather than your own. Had I understood that you were editing your own comment I wouldn't have reverted you. Apologies for the misunderstanding. Tony Abigail (talk) 23:50, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
An unanswered question
editYou haven't replied to this question, even though you have edited this page after Floquenbeam asked. Perhaps you didn't notice it? The someone who removed the retired tag on User:PennJilletteFan was the user himself, btw, back in March. Bishonen | talk 19:18, 12 December 2015 (UTC).
- I do not wish to reply to it. Tony Abigail (talk) 18:07, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- I see. I hope you realize the alternative is that we assume you're a sock of PennJilletteFan, a k a Kiko4564. Bishonen | talk 18:12, 13 December 2015 (UTC).
- In which case why haven't you reported me? Tony Abigail (talk) 12:09, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

Blocked indefinitely
editThis is unforgiveable! Favonian (talk) 18:34, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
Tony Abigail (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I defaced Bishonen's userpage because she insisted that she would assume I am a sockpuppet if I refused to answer another editors question. I recognise that what I did was wrong and if my editing privileges are restored I'll avoid editing other users user pages or making any further contact with Bishonen. I have never used any other accounts on Wikipedia and am extremely sorry for what I did to her.
Decline reason:
Look who's on my watchlist when I take a quick peek. I was 99% sure this was a returning blocked/banned troll a couple of weeks ago, this makes it 100%. Talk page access revoked as well, otherwise it's just a timesink. Floquenbeam (talk) 19:42, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Firstly, Bishonen is a 'she'.
- Secondly, she spends a lot of time keeping our encyclopedia safe from vandals, many of whom regularly re-appear as sockpuppets. You have no grievance against someone asking plainly how you happened to have come across a talk page of a blocked sockpuppet. It is very common for socks to revisit their previous incarnations and it would not have hurt you to politely answer the question, even if it was "I don't really remember". You have the right, of course, to be obstructive, but that is not going to endear you to other editors when you screw up (like now) and need some generosity to get unblocked.
- Thirdly, what does replacing another editor's page with "Hi everyone, I hate Jews!" say about you? Could you look the folks in your Neighbourhood Patrol in the eye again, if they knew what you had written? What you wrote is visible to the entire internet and is easily linked to your name. You don't actually have to apologise, but I think it might go a long way towards making everybody (yourself included) feel a bit better. Think on it. --RexxS (talk) 19:05, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
