TVB
editHello, Toomanysidesofme! I recognise you from your blog Too Many Sides Of TVB! I see you're very interested in TVB and I hope you won't mind helping me out here. Cheers!--Tdxiang 03:32, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
TVB
editNot yet, as not many people watch TVB dramas here. See this page and see if you can help expand Anne Heung. If more people clean up, we might start a new project on it.--Tdxiang 03:28, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Dear Toomanysidesofme. Here's something I'd like you to know: It is not recommended that you link articles to fansites. Wikipedia is not a tool for advertising, unfortunately.--Tdxiang 03:37, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Talk: Turn Left
editEr, did you mean incorrect? The sentence was confusing. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 17:36, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- No I do mean correct. The sentence is fine. The edit you reverted had Rose as an additional star, not as companion. Which meant that you did unjustifiably reverted to her as a guest star.Toomanysidesofme (talk) 17:41, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Er, this edit of mine lists her as a guest star, which she was. She had losts of speaking lines. The edit that Matthew performed offered her as a companion, which is not supported by citation. Without citation, we cannot list Piper as Companion. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 17:45, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- We are NOT listing her as a companion, that edit does not show her as such I have no idea why you cannot comprehend that. Right now the edit has her as also starring. Being in the title sequence means that she has status in the cast and not as guest star.Toomanysidesofme (talk) 17:48, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

- Pardon me, I meant to say also starring, which serves essentially the same purpose in separating Piper fromt he rest of the non-regular cast, which is simply not cited as such. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 17:59, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh now we are arguing whether to give Billie even credit in the cast? She is in the title credits and this should be in the cast section. The production saw it enough to place her in such an important spot, we must comply.Toomanysidesofme (talk) 18:02, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Stolen Earth
editYeah, I thought so too. The problem is how to conserve flow while including it in. Sceptre (talk) 20:37, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

- About the "2 of 2" and "2nd of 2" things - a point brought up in the Doomsday FAC was that that wording is confusing because it could imply something that's not desired. I'm hoping to change all the new series pages to reduce that confusion. Sceptre (talk) 19:19, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- It was a recommendation in the Doomsday FAC, which I think means "the episode is 45 minutes, but only a half/third of the story. Sceptre (talk) 20:49, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- "1 episode" is already implied by the infobox already. "2nd of a 3-part story" isn't. Sceptre (talk) 21:02, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- In that case, "1 television movie" is implied. Sceptre (talk) 21:14, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Series/Season
editYou put "Series Four" so I won't change it. But I have a question... I realize Series is the more common word in England but... even in England... doesn't Season mean the same thing as Series? I heard Colin Baker use the term Season in an interview he gave for an English Documentary. Just a question... I will not be making any changes to the article based upon your answer.--Dr who1975 (talk) 16:11, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sure that our British friends understand the term season, and may use it on occasion. I just did it for consistency sake, like British spelling, the use of series throughout the show. I put Series four so there isn't any misunderstanding on anyone's part. Toomanysidesofme (talk) 16:17, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- From WikiProject_Doctor_Who:
- Season
- A year's worth of episode broadcasts from the classic series. Although against UK convention, the term "season" is accepted usage for the classic series. Its first usage in an "official" tie-in appears to have been in the first Programme Guide in 1981; prior to that there appears to have been no particular convention. In the new series, they changed to use "series" and reset the numbering.
- Series
- A year's worth of episode broadcasts from the new series. Note that this can also be used to refer to the show as a whole, though this may occasionally be confusing to readers. In these cases, use instead either "show" or "programme."

For making those little improvements for which others are too lazy to do so themselves (like adding "1 episode" to infoboxes :-). --SoWhy Talk 20:33, 3 July 2008 (UTC) |
- Aww thanks! Too bad there has been major changes to that right now. Toomanysidesofme (talk) 21:00, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- It does not undo the willingness to do so just because Sceptre thinks it should look otherwise. :-) On a side note, I think we should reach consensus about that, I'll bring it to attention on the project's talk page. --SoWhy Talk 07:32, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Survey
editHi Toomanysidesofme!
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
