Wizard (fantasy)

edit

Because you have made comments on the Wizard (fantasy) talk page, I thought you might be interested to know of a Request for Comments: Talk:Wizard (fantasy)#Request for comment Goldfritha 02:08, 25 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Glad you chipped in on the RFC.
Meanwhile -- the other editor has created an article Magicians in fantasy. I would be happy to take the title, but this is in addition to the Wizard (fantasy) page. If you, like me, think one article suffices, you might want to comment on that as well. Goldfritha 00:20, 31 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
One more time!
I hope.
You may find the "Proposal for resolution of concerns" worth chipping in on. Same article. Goldfritha 00:14, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
If wishes were horses. . .
The page was merged to Magicians in fantasy. And then redirected, not to Magicians in fantasy, but to Wizard.
I thought you might be interested to know of a second Request for Comments on the page: Talk:Wizard (fantasy)#Request for comment 2 Goldfritha 03:19, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merger and redirect

edit

Hi TowerDragon, just to let you know your opinion would be valued in both the merge proposal for Magicians in fantasy to Magician and the discussion on whether to delete or redirect the now-defunct Wizard (fantasy) article. Thanks! Dreadlocke 20:07, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Plot edits

edit

Hey, I noticed you reverted my reversion to your edit :) Here was my reasoning: I try to avoid taking links from one disambig page (X) and putting them in another disambig page (Y). The reason is that it makes it hard to maintain. If another link gets added to X, then it may not get added to Y, or visa versa. For example, it makes a lot of sense to remove all the "Saint Pauls" from the page "Paul" and let the "Saint Paul" page do the disambiguation. I agree it's a bit different here, since we're linking to a synonym. I'm torn about what to do in this situation. - grubber 23:25, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Redirect of Arcanite (Warcraft)

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Arcanite (Warcraft), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Arcanite (Warcraft) is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Arcanite (Warcraft), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. WikiProject Germany Invitation

edit

Hello, TowerDragon! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

User talk:84.143.110.28

edit

Greetings! I was just wondering whether you still wanted to maintain this page. I'm of a mind to add a link to the IP edit history in question and move the page to a subpage of your userspace. Cheers! bd2412 T 13:14, 30 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I’m not quite sure what you have in mind. But it is highly improbable that I will ever use that IP address again and the listed changes seem pretty minor, so I don't really mind. As long as there is some not-too-obscure way to get at the information, just go ahead! TowerDragon (talk) 18:08, 30 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, the page is now at User talk:TowerDragon/84.143.110.28; the first line is a link to the contribution history of the IP address, which is solely comprised of those four edits. I have been working on the backlog of ancient IP talk page notices, and just happened to come across that one. Cheers! bd2412 T 18:21, 30 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Notice to significant contributors to the articles that a Merge Proposal from Alp (folklore) --> Mare (folklore) is underway. Your feedback is welcomed at Talk:Mare (folklore) --Kiyoweap (talk) 06:18, 23 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of language bindings for Qt 4, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Qt (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
