- WP:USER gives basic instructions on how to make a user page. Userboxes are explained here and the edit milestones were made by adding a table and listing the edits. You would probably want to wait until you have more edits before adding this. Tra (Talk) 22:01, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks For The Revert
editThis thank is probably too late, but thanks for restoring my User Page after it was vandalized. It was vandalized twice after that; and if you check the history of your User and Page Pages, you will see that they were vandalized too. You should have a look at the message the vandal sent to you. Regarding my question on the village pump
editYou said that only admins can actually block, but can anyone put the template up? some people might be stupid enough to think taht they were actualy blocked. Would it be a violation of rules to put up the template? Thank you. Ilikefood 21:34, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure there's any specific policy against it but it's probably best not to do this since that would be lying. I have seen a case in the past of a user giving out {{test5}}s when it was another admin that performed the block, but this is also a bad idea since it can make it unclear to the vandal exactly which user blocked them. VP:Technical
editThanks for answering my question on Dec 8 about edit box size. Unticking full width appears to have solved the problem. For what it is worth, the new box fits easily and well within the window. However it is one character too narroe for the text placed on it resulting in a constant 1 characer scrolling. Do you happen to know if anything can be done about that? Cheers. -- SGBailey 09:32, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm guessing it might be a problem with your browser and how it handles word wrapping. What browser are you using and are there any particular pages that the horizontal scrolling comes up on? Tra (Talk) 10:48, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- It isn't the window that has the scroll box, but the edit pane. The pane appears to be only 79 characters wide (or it is 80 characters wide but somehow trailing spaces force a scroll) - anyway you don't get an entire full line displayed at one time. I'm using MSIE (was 6 yesterday, now 7) on XP - still the classic skin. This isn't a big problem as was the previous problem of the edit pane not fitting in the window with no scroll available (that one you fixed). It is just "a bit annoying". Merry Christmas. -- SGBailey 21:23, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think it's a problem with the browser. I've checked and if you use FireFox, the horizontal scrollbar doesn't appear. Tra (Talk) 22:14, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
