Duplicate images uploaded
editThanks for uploading Image:PrimitivePrints.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:DSCN1444.JPG. The copy called Image:DSCN1444.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 16:46, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Primitive prints
editA "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Primitive prints, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. File source problem with File:Tuckahoe.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Tuckahoe.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:42, 25 February 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:42, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- You can get to the image description page by clicking on the blue-linked name of the image, above. I've gone ahead and taken care of the license for this one. In the future, it may be easier for you to use our file upload wizard which automatically checks to make sure you put in licensing and source information. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:04, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
Wolfiporia extensa
editJust a friendly note on Wolfiporia extensa. First, if you want to add comments to the article's talk page, please don't add a slash to the page title. Doing so makes a new subpage, which is discouraged and which no one will see. I took the liberty of moving your comments at Talk:Wolfiporia extensa/Comments to the correct location, Talk:Wolfiporia extensa.
Also, the reason your changes to Wolfiporia extensa keep getting reverted is that you are removing the sources, maintenance tags, and wikification of the article. I'd suggest you read Wikipedia:Writing better articles -- it's a bit of a read, but it has a lot of information that will really help you to improve this article. Picture placement is beyond my skill level. Have you considered posting your question here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Oregon. It'll get noticed quicker by several experts. --Tesscass (talk) 03:21, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Sanibel traffic
editActually, Sanibel traffic jams only happen during certain hours or certain times of the year, depending on the weather. Which is a complicatewd way of saying that things aren't always that way. The hire police aides during certain time periods for traffic issues, but they are seasonal because it's not a year round problem. If you are really determined to work it into the article, try the Ft. Myers News-Press or one of the numerous books written about the island. Niteshift36 (talk) 04:10, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
RE: Breitbart
editWikipedia pages are not reliable sources. WP:CIRCULAR Active Banana (talk) 17:30, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- We clearly link to other pages, but we cannot use the wikipedia page as a source for content on another page. You would need to directly cite the actual sources used on the other page. Active Banana (talk) 17:36, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

April 2023
editHello, I'm Llll5032. I noticed that you added or changed content in John Solomon (political commentator), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at a referencing guide here. Thank you.
