Re: Nessa

edit

Hi, welcome to wikipedia! I saw your article on Nessa, and I wanted to hit you up about some concerns I had on it. Namely that while there does seem to be discussion about it, it's small size and reliance on Valnet sources. While the sources you have feel like they can be fleshed out, and even the Valnet issue worked around, the biggest issue is there may not be enough to *say* about the character itself in the article, similarly to what happened with Larry from Scarlet/Violet. Hello, is it too much to ask for your help in finding sources or help from others who you might know on here? TreeElf (talk) 06:37, 2 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm doing some digging, the main problem is going to be your body. There's also a smaller issue of while there is WP:SIGCOV, these sources need to be fleshed out. When you have an article that's small enough it could fit into a list entry all its own, it's prime targeting for a deletion discussion.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 07:03, 2 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your input. I hope the article I've created is retained on this site. It would be great if others could also contribute and improve it further. TreeElf (talk) 07:28, 2 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Nessa's article has been rated B-class. Thanks for all the help again! TreeElf (talk) 19:42, 8 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Haruhi Suzumiya Buruma.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Haruhi Suzumiya Buruma.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:20, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Nessa SWSH concept art.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:37, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
