A courtesy post to let you know your edits are incorrect. When I have time I, or maybe even Susan Bernardin, will correct the issues. Few, if any, Mourning Dove experts agree with Fisher, it’s not my “opinion.” I have also reported your accusations to the arbitration panel. More importantly, you misrepresent Godfrey, Biedler and Bernardin, and some of these scholars (and others) have been notified. They are watching the page carefully.
The goal here is to represent Cogewea fairly, which you are not, I’m sorry to say. I am hopeful you agree that correct representation is vital to Wikipedia’s goals. I am also hopeful we can stay civil through this process. Trentprof (talk) 18:45, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
- Don't worry about sending me a courtesy message Trentprof! Let's be productive instead. If you believe any of my edits have been done in error, please note your disagreement on the article's Talk page. I assume you're talking about the editor controversy, in which case you'd want to add your comments specifically in the "editor controversy" section, preferably with a quote from the articles written by these scholars. You could actually call on the editor AmlitProf to give you a third perspective, seeing as they have jumped in on the page. Or we could find a third perspective elsewhere if you want to bring up a specific line or detail you believe to be incorrect. I'm glad to see your account is back, it's so important to engage in these issues! Thanks! TrentStudent20 (talk) 18:58, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
See the talk page and please stop accusing me and reporting me, when these accusations are not deserved. I am new here and don't know the ropes as well as you. I am happy to talk, so let's do so. I have done so, along with other users in the talk pages already, so your assertions here appear...disingenuous? Your speedy leaps to accusing me and reporting me comes across as vindictive (keep in mind, I am sharing our exchanges publicly and will do so in an upcoming blog post and on all my social media accounts. This is a public space and not private). I am hopeful Mourning Dove can be well represented. You can't skew research to suit your ideological motives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trentprof (talk • contribs) 01:06, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
- Keep your comments about Cogewea to its talk page, please. Share examples of how you think I skewed research, what you would see changed. Then, you can even call in a 3rd party if you think I fail to see reason. I did not accuse you of sock puppetry, more senior Wikipedians did and I provided evidence. They took action against you, not me. I am not out to get you, or the subject matter. TrentStudent20 (talk) 01:12, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
