editHello, I'm Bovineboy2008. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Koli Taal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, non-free images like film posters cannot be uploaded to WikiCommons. They can be uploaded to a language-specific Wikipedia if the correct fair use licensing is included. BOVINEBOY2008 20:42, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
@Bovineboy2008: Please help me to upload the film image on the page Koli Taal I have created. I see thousands of film pages have film posters, and the previous poster I have uploaded was never published on any other website. What kind of poster I have to upload? What's the solution for this? Thank you. TridentWiki1289 (talk) 04:39, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- You have been uploading the image Wikimedia Commons, which cannot host non-free images. You can use the wizard (Wikipedia:File_Upload_Wizard) but make sure you click the "Upload a non-free file" option. From there, you can upload and name the image, include a description (I use {{Non-free use rationale poster}}), and provide licensing (in Step 3, choose "This is a copyrighted, non-free work, but I believe it is Fair Use." then "This is the official cover art of a work."). GermanKity (talk) 08:04, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
@GermanKity: Hi, I have added the few more references which are the leading newspapers from India. Koli Taal is a major film which created a buzz in Kannada film industry and also in India.
An article you recently created, Koli Taal, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
