CS1 error on Jessica Green (academic)

edit

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Jessica Green (academic), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "missing periodical" error. References show this error when the name of the magazine or journal is not given. Please edit the article to add the name of the magazine/journal to the reference, or use a different citation template. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 20:21, 7 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sources please

edit

Please remember to add sources for everything you add to Wikipedia, but most especially for information about living people. In your edits to Karen McCarthy Woolf you didn't source her FRSL (or even mention it in the body of the text), didn't source her work at Goldsmiths (I can't find a source which gives her the title "Associate Lecturer", though I've sourced that she teaches there), and removed the sourced "poet-in-residence" to say "Writer", for some reason. Please add sources, and respect existing sources. I've sorted out this lot, though can't find any mention of that "Associate Lecturer" title. Thanks. PamD 13:55, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello - many thanks for sorting the citations. I will do better next time! Triplehuman (talk) 17:13, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Saqib,
My connection with Safwat Saleem is through the TED fellows network, and other art associations. There is no personal relationship - I didn't feel it a conflict of interest. I am starting to add and update TED fellows on wikipedia as a personal project, but it's not easy it seems! 62.49.248.77 (talk) 10:31, 14 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
The issue here isn't a COI, but rather that the subject, in this case Safwat Saleem, fails to meet WP:N. And when the editor continues to push for articles on non-notable subjects, it becomes problematic. I would suggest setting this topic aside for now and focusing on other, more notable subjects.Saqib (talk I contribs) 10:42, 14 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi Saqib, I'm not being problematic, I'm trying to understand the process and highlighting that the artwork the subject creates is notable in the art world, as verified by valid sources like the BBC and recognition such as awards from TED and AAPI. In Pheonix (pop 1.6 million) he is well known and respected, and his global reputation is growing (almost 2 million views on a single video). He is not an MP or Policy Maker but a significant artist. 62.49.248.77 (talk) 10:57, 14 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
