File permission problem with File:Issue 34 cover by Paul McCartney.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Issue 34 cover by Paul McCartney.jpg, which you've attributed to Roderick Clark. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 00:40, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

My article is still awaiting review. Do you have any idea how long that will take, given it was declined Jan. 23 this year and I edited it according to critique given.
Please help me with...
Tristaniel (talk) 22:09, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Tristaniel. Please try to be patient, there are over 400 articles currently waiting for review, and not many reviewers to look over them all. Articles like yours tend to take longer to review because they are lengthy and a more in-depth review is necessary (as opposed to blatantly invalid pages, which can be declined quickly). At the moment, the oldest review is about three weeks old, so I would hazard a guess that your draft will be reviewed in the next week or so. Good luck! Primefac (talk) 22:28, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
Hi. There was a lot of information that was completely unsuitable to a Wikipedia article. If you read an article about a similar literary journal you can find an example about how to do it. Wikipedia is not for advertisements. A lot of the personal information was not related to the magazine. I cleaned up a lot, but it still needs more work, better sources, and pointless information checked. The details about Stephen King's wife subscribing got in the way of real information. If this article were in a 1/2 page Britannica article about Rosebud, the literary journal, would it list this information? Also, there were excessive paragraphs of quotes. Just write out the information, don't include 3 paragraphs from another source. Anyway, I removed some information. Try to rewrite the article in good English from what is there; that way, when people search Google and get this article, they will learn what the journal is. You are not advertisingRosebud here, you are just writing about it. 2601:285:101:7076:2523:3222:D789:E6ED (talk) 20:26, 19 February 2016 (UTC)

editHello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:John Lehman, from its old location at User:Tristaniel/sandbox/John Lehman, writer and poet. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 17:33, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
