Alzheimer

edit

I reverted your writing and I want to explain why:

  • Firstly: it was very specific, while the article is a general introduction to Alzheimer's disease and its most important characteristics.
  • Secondly it was based on primary references, based on animal studies while wikipedia should be based on secondary refences (in this case most commonly review articles in peer-reviewed journals that explicitly say that there may be a causal connection between AD and cyrchadian rythms). You may find useful to read WP:MEDRS, a document containing a guideline on referencing medical articles in wikipedia. Since the material seemed interesting it may fit in a secondary article such as Biochemistry of Alzheimer's disease.

I am really sorry for this reversion and I hope that it does not stop you from further contributing in medical articles in wikipedia. If you have any kind of questions or comments do not doubt in asking them at my talk page or in the medicine project (See:Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine.
