Yes, you have made a mistake.
I added Namibia to the list of countries it is found as I have found it there.
Xiopop2001 (talk) 10:45, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- I had missed this back in September 2022, so I apologize. I had reverted because of the comma that was way out of place, although this is something I should have manually taken out. However, your edit would have been removed eventually as Namibia would be redundant to say because it is located in South Africa, an area that is included in that article. Appreciate you thanking my edit, can you help me with a user who is reverting said edit?

- Hi, I think the “Thank user” was meant for encouraging to discuss on the talk page. Honestly I can’t remember though, because I didn’t thank directly in the article’s page. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if that’s an appropriate source, as I don’t recognize those news outlets. I’m not really the person to ask, so I’m sorry I’m not able to help you there. Tropicalkitty (talk) 18:38, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
- That's alright, thanks for replying anyway. Gamowebbed (talk) 23:12, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
Caesar salad entry
Hi. The salad was invented in Mexico by an Italian chef in 1924, according to Encyclopedia Brittanica. The article also specifically states NOT TO add in anything about Julius Caesar having anything to do with the salad. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Caesar-salad 173.238.251.26 (talk) 18:25, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- Regarding this situation I sent a message to this anonymous user’s talk page. Tropicalkitty (talk) 18:52, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- Respected Sir, I was seeing your profile, there I saw you're a reviewer on english wikibooks and an administrator on mediawiki. How you became reviewer and administrator sir/ma'am? Can you please guide me with a way? Atharavrajsinghyadav (talk) 11:32, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
The new user
Hi, Tropicalkitty. Thanks for replying to the new user on User talk:Materialscientist. When I moved their message down and replied, I got an edit conflict with your reply to them and decided to also leave the message where they had put it, with your reply, to maximise the chances that they'll see at least one of our replies. Because, you know, they obviously don't know to look at the bottom of the page! I see you have now removed yours, and I guess it's far from certain that they'll see mine, on MS's busy page, so I'd better drop a note on their own page. This got more complicated than I expected, for both you and me.. ;-) Bishonen | tålk 09:06, 20 February 2023 (UTC).

CS1 error on Eduard Petiška
Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Eduard Petiška, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A "missing periodical" error. References show this error when the name of the magazine or journal is not given. Please edit the article to add the name of the magazine/journal to the reference, or use a different citation template. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 16:35, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

You had no right to wipe my edit. Msukanen (talk) 22:39, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
- Your edit on the article talk page was inappropriate (potentially disrespectful to the subject) and also outside of the purpose of article talk pages. Tropicalkitty (talk) 22:42, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

On GBlock
It doesn't matter, but I just wanted to say, I don't think that global block was locally disabled. Last global block to be locally disabled was in 8 August 2023: Special:Log/gblblock.
You can just remove this. Just wanted to let you know. – 2804:F14:80D6:E401:BDFE:45D3:FE55:4429 (talk) 07:57, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Perhaps I’m mistaken on what I said in the vandalism report noticeboard. I probably have read that global block message wrong on the English Wikipedia all those years. Thanks for pointing that out. Tropicalkitty (talk) 08:03, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Reversion
Hi there! I was wondering why did you revert my edits in the vehicle registration plates of Turkey page. I didn't do anything harmful, instead removed some of the inappropriate plate examples. Efe Önem (talk) 17:16, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the message. I have restored your revision as I also missed the additional changes below those examples. Tropicalkitty (talk) 17:26, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
Influenced and influences in infobox
Why are you removing the influences and influenced tab of the infobox? Instead of deleting it, the text should go somewhere, if the problem is with the infobox element. These tabs are quite useful. 2804:14C:5BD8:5070:F7CC:DCF1:6F7A:8EA5 (talk) 02:24, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- I’m not sure why you removed a substantial amount of content at the beginning of the article. That was why I restored the previous revision immediately. Tropicalkitty (talk) 03:04, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
Historian on the Richardson Olmsted Campus, yet my additions are deleted by “editors”?
Why are you blocking my edits to the Richardson Olmsted Complex page? Please explain how I can do this properly, because I am hours in at this point and your “editors” keep deleting my additions. Please clearly state how to alleviate the problem. Thanks. Rytimpat (talk) 22:23, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- The original intention of my revert was the insane part, which is often used negatively. I may have been caught off guard though. I did take a bit of a look after the revert and noticed that there were several sections that you added which were not referenced/cited material. The previous account, which operated under a business user name, was blocked for that and adding in promotional material. Tropicalkitty (talk) 23:13, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Child care benefit
Hi Kitty, I saw that you deleted the page Child care benefit and reinstated the erroneous redirect to child benefit. As these two (sets of) worlds clearly describe different phenomena, a source seems a bit much. But here you go: https://www.belastingdienst.nl/wps/wcm/connect/bldcontenten/belastingdienst/individuals/benefits/moving_to_the_netherlands/my_child_goes_to_a_childcare_centre/ And more: https://www.ecosia.org/search?q=child%20care%20benefit Please repair the page. I would have preferred that you first communicated. Thanks - Frisie (talk) 22:23, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I’m not able to do this. Tropicalkitty (talk) 22:49, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- Specifically, I'm not able to delete the redirect page. This is one area that I'm not sure what the process is for the English Wikipedia (for a redirect page that was created back in 2009, with no edit history other than today). Perhaps, maybe seek WP:RfD. Tropicalkitty (talk) 23:26, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Wrong revert
You made a wrong revert here.
Can you know see the Azad Hind page itself where it is clearly detailed how it was a 'puppet' state?
The person who I was reverting is a disruptive editor and has talk page filled with warnings.
Hope you will self-revert. 43.250.157.17 (talk) 05:48, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Just updating that you made the self-revert[1] so thank you for being so collaborative! Best of luck with your Wikipedia journey! 43.250.157.17 (talk) 06:02, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Apologies for the warning and revert for that particular edit. The warning has been removed. I had misread it. Tropicalkitty (talk) 06:26, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
gotham writers workshop
Hi, I just made an edit to Gotham Writers Workshop. In the Faculty section. The info was out of date and the formatting made it difficult to read. So I improved the formatting and updated the information. Alexander Steele (talk) 18:58, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
AN/I notice
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Noting, you are not the subject of the AN/I, but related to it as you were involved with a content dispute with the AN/I subject. You can find the AN/I section here: Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#39r3i93. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 20:21, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
Note
Can you check what user i mentioned did on this page, with his language skills: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/BC_Wolves 93.143.67.49 (talk) 18:19, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
Akshadev was just restoring the image size of 0.75, which appears to what the standard is on that page. I don’t consider either edit vandalism as the two were slight image size adjustments, not blowing up the image or making it extremely small. Edit warring / content dispute was the correct call. Tropicalkitty (talk) 19:01, 31 October 2023 (UTC)- Sorry I was commenting about another page. Tropicalkitty (talk) 19:08, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
This is relating to a revert on User talk:Neziuriu.film. About the content in the article, I don't know what to say other than parts of it looked almost like an essay. I think the way you commented to that user was potentionally not helpful though. Tropicalkitty (talk) 19:41, 31 October 2023 (UTC)

I didn't see your message
I reported Alexande Eichman to AIV before I saw your deleted message! Sorry if you were already reporting elsewhere. Knitsey (talk) 23:36, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for reporting. I was thinking about doing so after cancelling at the edit war noticeboard, but was still occupied with other projects. Tropicalkitty (talk) 23:43, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- I thought I would chance AIV because of the threats to block. Anyway, it's done with now. Glad it's sorted. Knitsey (talk) 23:46, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
