Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh
editPlease take a moment to read WP:DADASAHEB. The "award" he was given is absolutely NOT the same as the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. While that award is clearly a notable award, the knockoffs generally are not considered notable and are removed from articles on a regular basis. Ravensfire (talk) 15:37, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Revensfire
- I have already Read About Regrading WP:DADASAHEB. obviously this Award is not the same as Dadasaheb Phalke Award. so i have Already edited its name to Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award. which is Already listed on many Wiki pages Like this one for Ex:- Nikul C. Desai
- i have also added about the Giants International Awards which is Awarded to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in 2016. so on this page why its not recognized. TruthBehindMe (talk) 17:14, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- Awards should have their own articles showing they are notable by our criteria. Doug Weller talk 08:52, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
- I agree with @Ravensfire. Please take a moment to read the discussion on the same topic which has already been done here. Moreover, the information you added about the Platinum Plaques in Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh article was removed as the source cited (https://www.prnewswire.com) is not reliable and is rather an advertising/PR news website. Before questioning the removal please refer again to Talk:Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh/Archive 1#Awards and World records.
- Another information added by you to the same page was removed considering the fact that the information provided by you that "UN-Water Body invitation was due to Ram Rahim's social welfare works" was completely false and unsourced. The cited source, nowhere, proves this information true.
- You are requested to not add unreliable, misleading, primary-sourced, and self-approved claims and information to Wikipedia articles.
- Thanks.

editHello, TruthBehindMe. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. I'm also concerned about an apparent conflict of interest on a draft article you submitted, where the subject is described as running a Facebook page with a name that matches your prior user name. Your edits are pushing over the WP:NPOV line, you really should be following the process outlined in WP:COI, and using the talk page to suggest edits. Ravensfire (talk) 14:02, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi Revensfire Thanks for your wonderful comments. I don't have any external relationship with the people whose i have made editing on wikipedia. I have editing those articles for only good sake and whose information about the people is missing on wikipedia or it should be on their wiki pages.In Gurmeet Ram Rahim wikipedia article their is only one side information shown of his life and nothing about his ideology, social work and other huge level Campaign which he is running for good sake of society. I don't want any paid contribution from wikipedia. TruthBehindMe (talk) 05:21, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
- I want to add to Ravensfire's note above, despite your response in the negative, your accounts existence seems to be only to promote the subject. If this continues then your editing privileges will be revoked. —SpacemanSpiff 14:29, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
