Hi, Daicaregos:

I have the references to the edits I made to Owain's ancestors: most come from notes I made for a paper I did in college years and years ago, specifically a nice-looking ancestral tree in several colours, although I've since lost the specific refs. Back when I did the paper, you had to hunt through any number of books, which, IIRC, included J.E. Lloyd's History of Wales, Lloyd's Owen Glendower, Burke's Peerage, Burke's Landed Gentry of the British Isles, AG Bradley's Owen Glyndwr and the Last Struggle for Welsh Independence, and whatever UCLA's library could produce on the subject. In addition to these books, I also made use (judicious) of the Stirnet site, specifically http://www.stirnet.com/genie/data/british/ww/wales01.php through stirnet.com/genie/data/british/ww/wales74.php. If you can help me reference the tree I entered re Owain's lineage, I would appreciate it, as I'm lousing at the Wiki referencing procedure. Thanks. Ts-lin09 (talk) 16:15, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

Any of the books you mention would be fine to cite as a reference. Copy and paste this template, substituting the correct information where marked with an x:

“authorlink=” is only applicable if the author has a Wikipedia article. “url=” is necessary only if the information is available online. If you are still unsure, leave a link to the reference here (including the page number) and I'll complete it for you. By the way, the Stirnet site link took me to a paywall. Though I suspect it may not be a reliable source; it looks to be a multicontributor site, similar to Wikipedia. It may be worth checking with the Reliable Sources Noticeboard before using it. Hotspur Ancestry question

Thanks for the expansion and correction on the ancestry of Henry Percy (Hotspur)! I had especially been wondering about getting the correct link on the Mortimer family. I do note, however, that the pages of Edmund Mortimer, 2nd Baron Mortimer and Margaret de Fiennes don't include this daughter Isolt in their lists of children. Could you let me know what source you were using for the ances-tree of Hotspur? I'd like to then use it to put Isolt onto those other pages for more consistency.
