Helpful hint "minor edit"

Just a reminder, careful to not check the "minor edit" box when making any but the most insubstantial edits. By insubstantial we mean a typo fix, formatting fix and the like -- something that does not really change the content of the page (check the link for more info). I know it sounds nitpicky and apologize for same, but please know that there is a good reason for this: there is a feature on editors' watchlists to not show minor edits, for sake of space. If you check the box when it doesn't apply, others cannot be informed of your edits to those pages they watch. While it is not a big deal, your attention to this will be appreciated by many others.
