Orphaned non-free media (File:SeljuqFlag.gif)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:SeljuqFlag.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 17:47, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Kansas Bear (talk) 05:17, 15 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Genetic history of the Turkish people, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Blogs are not reliable sources. Cavann (talk) 02:54, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Genetic history of the Turkish people, you may be blocked from editing. For the last time, [1] is a blog and is not a reliable source. Cavann (talk) 22:00, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I use open sources that use scientifically accepted methodologies.

Genetic history of the Turkish people and WP:ANEW

edit

I have reviewed the report filed against you at ANEW. It appears that you sporadically edit Wikipedia and attempt to add unreliably sourced material to this article. Consider this a warning that if you do so again, even if it's in the distant future, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:32, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

[2] is a blog. [3] also comes from the blog [4]. You cannot add blog-sourced material to Wikipedia. Review Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Reliable Sources. Cavann (talk) 22:38, 8 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of six months for repeated additions of unreliably sourced material after warnings, most recently to Genetic history of the Turkish people. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Bbb23 (talk) 22:50, 9 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
