The article Oliver Spencer-Wortley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable composer. Only reference is mainly about his brother. Notability is not inherited.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. In my opinion, and from what I've seen of deletion debates here I believe this would be the wider opinion, is that simply signing a record deal does not confer notability on this person. What you really need to find for this article to stick around is some good quality, third-party (i.e. not published or paid to be published by the artist/record company, etc. and not written on a blog, fansite or other site that can be edited by anyone). If you can find ones that deal with him solely, and not about his brother, that will also help your cause greatly. Have a look at WP:RS to see what makes a good source and what doesn't.
Also, per the deletion process. If you contest the deletion you should remove the prod, because if the prod stays on for one week the article will be deleted (you don't need my agreement that the article is notable to delete the prod). If you remove you should try to improve the article with sources like I suggested above. Otherwise the next step would be for me or someone else to bring the article to WP:AfD where the community as a whole decides whether or not the article is notable.

Several references included here are actually links to sites for his brother Thomas whose article on the project was deleted.
