Team Diversity

My username is Tv55e52 and I have been working on improving the Team Diversity Wikipedia page in conjunction with the Organizational Communication course at Carnegie Mellon University.

Overall great job on your Team Diversity article! Some nitpicks: in the Benefits and Cost sections, it was really hard to distinguish the difference between the bneefit and cost headings and their subheadings. Additionally, those sections felt a bit tacked on at the end. It would have been nice to see more added to "While diversity in theory can promote a wide range of ideas originating from people from different backgrounds, it is not always the case that diversity improves a group's functioning. Different types of diversity have widely different effects on team satisfcation and functioning." under the Cost section. Additionally, I think it would have made more sense to have benefits and costs come right after describing the different types of diversity instead of Theoretical perspectives in between. • I remember looking at the previous version of this article and it definitely seems a lot stronger.
• I think that the section with Benefits and Costs can still be stronger. It seems very high level and it would be nice to even throw in some examples. For instance in the costs, what are those ideal conditions that are required
• In the theoretical perspectives on diversity, I would link intergroup bias to their Wikipedia page if they have one. If they don't it would be nice to have a quick definition of that.
• In the first section, it says "see Input Process Output Model" but it does not link to anything which I think was the point
• Overall, I enjoyed looking at it because how much of a huge change there was from before and after!
