Ricardo Campana (album) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Ricardo Campana (album), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Candyman trailer

edit

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I reverted your addition of the trailer to Candyman (2020 film). While it was well sourced and factually correct, it is not notable. Per WP:TRAILER, we don't report traditional methods of marketing for films unless that advert becomes notable (i.e. controversial, wins awards, etc). Let me know if you have any questions about that! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Verzuz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page DMX. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Edit on Verzuz

edit

Hi there! I saw this recent edit to Verzuz and wanted to ask - are you connected in any way with Verzuz, either financially, socially, or otherwise, or connected with anyone that works there?

Either way, about the edit summary you wrote - I just wanted to point out that no one person has WP:OWNERSHIP of an article on Wikipedia, so could you please not use words like "moderator" in the future when referring to yourself? And could you refrain from saying that specific edits "will only be accepted by moderators"? I think that phrasing is misleading and could be confusing to new editors, since Wikipedia doesn't have "moderator" positions.

Let me know if this makes sense or if you have any questions. Also, thanks for your edits so far. Cheers! - Whisperjanes (talk) 21:12, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

thanks for the reply, I understand your concern and I am sorry that you feel that way. however the vandalization seems to come from one person who continues to use different IP's (hidden) in order to place an incorrect 3rd party link on the site, this has been going on for 2 months where it has been changed to the official site. There were alerts that were given to assure that there needed to be a correction to the error. However it hasnt changed. All contributors are always welcomed, they are never neglected, but correct sourcing as we know as editors are important. thanks for the input. Chao!!! Tvfilmmusicfan (talk) 21:59, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your reply. And just to clarify, I don't have an issue with taking off the URL, or your edit (I can see the link has been an issue for awhile now) - I was just concerned by the edit summary you wrote.
More importantly, could you answer the two questions I asked above: about your connection to Verzuz and if you will not use ownership words like moderator in the future? I don't mind you saying unproblematic edits aren't welcome (obviously, that's the case for any article on Wikipedia). But I don't know what you mean when you call yourself a moderator, and I do think it's misleading.
Also, if the edit warring and IP changes over the link keeps happening after this point, you can request for page protection (specifically temporary semi-protection) at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, if you want. Sometimes that's done to protect from multiple IPs making problematic edits to a page. Hope this helps! - Whisperjanes (talk) 18:25, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, Tvfilmmusicfan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. And I'm dropping this message here because I didn't see a reply above, and want you to know the community rules on COIs. Whisperjanes (talk) 02:55, 17 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
