editPlease do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Tongva people, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. For "inline citations" with the <ref> [cite] </ref> format. See wp:cite. I would suggest using <ref>[http://www.tongva.com Tongva.com: Tribal Council of San Gabriel]</ref> Note the brackets "[]". Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 05:27, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
- Your edits to this article are controversial and have been reverted. Please discuss them on the article's talk page and get a consensus for them before restoring. Thanks, Beyond My Ken (talk) 05:29, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
- Please stop making edits to this article until you know what you are doing, you're screwing up the formatting. You're also pushing a particualr POV about Gabrielino vs. Tongva, am issue which is under discussion on the article talk page and for which there is no consensus about what to do. Making those changes in the absence of a consensus is disruptive, and continuing to do so can lead to a block from editing. Please participate in the discussion on the talk page, and do not make the changes until there is a consensus to do so (and ask a more experienced editor to help you, so your edits are not technically deficient.) Dear friend...
editYou appear to be in an edit war and you will not communicate. The other editors are discussing the content of the article on the talk page Talk:Tongva people and perhaps you need to stop making changes and discuss there first. We have a page called WP:BRD that explains how we edit around here, Be Bold, Revert and Discuss. If you don't discuss and just keep reverting, you force to block you from editing and reverting all your changes. That would mean you will have wasted all your time. Please just go there and discuss in good faith the changes you want made. We want your input, but when it is in the middle of a large discussion, you need to be courteous enough to engage with others in that discussion.
