Non-free use disputed for Image:Pith.jpg
editThis file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Pith.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:04, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:800px-VEmana.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:800px-VEmana.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:02, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
re: Telugu
editHi, basically I reverted your edits because I thought they completely changed the origin and classification of the language and that you deleted properly sourced info and added new info which is already mentioned in the article anyway as an alternate theory, throwing off the balance of the article. Sorry, I should have been more specific in my edit summary and paid more attention. Hope this helps you understand my reversion better. Copana2002 (talk) 08:03, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Telugu
editTelugu language is a Dravidian language. It doesn't belong to Aryan family. Don't change the well sourced content to your own theory. Consider this is my only warning to you. C21Ktalk 11:26, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Gadicherla Harisarvottama Rao
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Gadicherla Harisarvottama Rao requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. TYelliot | Talk | Contribs 22:06, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
