Greg Laughery : AfD Discussion
- Please help by joining this AfD discussion and/or utilize the new source material that I have provided (at the above link) to improve the Article.
- Important Note : I would like to actively request comment on this AfD discussion. While some have changed their position based on the arguments presented (including myself, who was initially quite skeptical of the subject of this Article); the current contributors, though still debating, seem to be at something of a deadlock. Your help is needed to bring this page off the AfD list, and allow competent editors to correct the article with the new sources and materials which have been brought forward!
- Note: The Administrator T. Canens has, in my judgement, prematurely executed a closure & archival of the discussion in this Article. Per WP:DELREVD, I have solicited the said Administrator's comment here. Unless substantially satisfied by this individual's response, of which the discussion is presently devoid, I will initiate arbitration proceedings under WP:DELREV.
- I just saw that you've been editing here steadily for just one month. Under the circumstances I think you need advice: Please read the instructions at WP:AfD and at WP:DRV. There you can see that AfD is not a headcount but a discussion which weighs policies and guidelines. Closers of AfDs very rarely comment, they just announce the result. Anybody who wants to question the result of an AfD may ask the closer to reconsider (you're doing that right now, ok). If he doesn't change his mind, the appropriate venue to question the closure is WP:DRV. All this has nothing to do with WP:Arbitration which is totally unrelated to a simple closure of an AfD discussion. I hope to have been helpful. Kraxler (talk) 03:31, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- I use the term Arbitration here colloquially, as an expression for the deliberation of unbiased third party — forgive me if this was confused with WP:Arbitration, but it was my hope that the wikilinks to WP:DELREVD and WP:DELREV would make this clear. Thanks for your note.
- Note: I have asked for a deletion review of the Article entitled Greg Laughery. Because the aforementioned Administrator (in my judgement), closed the deletion discussion for the page, speedily deleted it, and may remain to be otherwise interested in it, so as to participate in the deletion review.
Evan Roberts (minister) : Source and Stylistic Deficits
- Done. I have now removed the Refimprove and Awkward tags from this Section of the article, and have added new references as well as improved the clarity of the writing. Some citations which I cannot locate are still needed here, and I would suggest that the rest of the article also be reviewed for quality.

"Some Styling Suggestions" : Use of Perspective Lighting Effects on Proposed Main Page

- Likely : Seems like we have some consensus on the merits of using Perspective Lighting Effects, in favor of the proposed design for the new Main Page.

You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request Service
editHi UBI-et-ORBI! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over three years.
In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in three years or more.
You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:
- Go to the Feedback Request Service page.
- Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
- Paste
{{Frs user|{{subst:currentuser}}|limit}}
underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month. - Publish the page.
If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.
Note that if you had a rename and left your old name on the FRS page, you may be receiving this message. If so, make sure your new account name is on the FRS list instead.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:26, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
