This template was nominated for deletion on March 4, 2006. The result was keep, pending any new userbox policy. The discussion can be found here. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 00:12, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Please don't re-nominate the userbox for speedy deletion. It just won't happen. The template was kept after an overwhelming consensus less than a month ago, until/unless an official policy is created (see above). Speedy deletion should only serve for cases which would have been extermely uncontroversial if brought to an actual vote, or where consensus has already been established. - Mike Rosoft 22:28, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- If this has been nominated, it should be left alone. Or is this Template "special" and immune from challenges, unlike so much others? Please restore the notice. Nhprman UserLists 04:44, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

Reason
editAgain, why has this been deleted..??
- Because Wikipedia is not the place for political bumperstickers and buttons, or for rallying like-minded people into "clubs" and support groups. It's an unbiased encyclopedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nhprman (talk • contribs) 17:03, 5 July 2006
- Also this doesn't mean that you're not allowed to say that you're a communist on your userpage. It's just that the bumpersticker was removed from template space, and that removal was endorsed.
- Basically we're saying that, within reason, you can say what you like on your userpage. No, obviously not "Death to all Irish people" or anything like that, but "I'm a communist and I value human life over property" or whatever is fine. On balance, we'd rather you didn't use Wikipedia to promote your point of view, even on your userpage. If you're willing to work within the neutral point of view, you can leave your personal opinions at home.
- So you can produce a userbox-like structure of your own (this is a doddle, {{userbox|id=Com|logo=[[Image:Hammer and sickle.svg|40px]]|id-c=red|info=I'm a communist|info-size=20px}} and it looks like this:
And I don't know anybody on the wiki who would have a serious objection to that. --Tony Sidaway 17:33, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for your answer, I was surprised to see this deleted as {{User:UBX/liberal}} was still available for use. I now noticed that Template:User_liberal (no capital) was also deleted and have taken it upon myself to remove Template:User_Liberal.
Speedy DELETE THIS
editAll of these boxes were deleted back in 2006. Please do not re-create these divisive, non-encyclopedic boxes. Nhprman List 15:47, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
