It's fine for me whatever your job is, but as you probably saw there had been TWO MySpace addresses at the previous infobox and one of them was exactly the same like the one accessable from Yukmouth's website. So what? And I don't understand why it is so appropriate to insert smokealot for him. Smokealot.com is for Smoke-a-Lot, personal MySpace profile is for Yukmouth (the fact that he is the CEO is fairly the same case as Masaru Ibuka for Sony, and as you can see there's no Sony.com link under the founder's page). It is that so simple. Lajbi Holla @ meWho's the boss? 09:55, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- As I said there were two addresses where
- As I said there were two addresses where
- Equals
- Consider that MySpaces are useful for infoboxes and references in Wikipedia. Lajbi Holla @ meWho's the boss? 18:27, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
The Regime (Members)
editYou said check SmokeALotRecords.com, but it's outdated. If you listen to the "Regime Roll Call" intro on All Out War 3, Yukmouth calls out everyone that is Regime, he says both Ms. Story aswell as refers to DJ Finagz as the "Regime DJ". He also says two other groups/cliques I can't make out.
Depure Records/Clique from Fresno? & Philies Boys from East Oakland? So by saying that Ms Story & DJ Fingaz aren't officially Regime, are you saying Yukmouth is a liar? I mean, I'm willing to admit I was wrong, but going on Yuk's own word, I take it their in...
Speaking of SmokeALotRecords.com though... I have a hard enough time getting it to come up. It won't come up in Opera, Internet Explorer or FireFox. It only comes up in the AOL Software. But... that's not really your problem. Just felt good to get that out, really pisses me off.
Re: The Regime (Members)
editAight, I can't argue with that. I kinda put together the whole UDStyle-Untouchable Designs thing after I put that up. I was just saying it was outdated since I didn't see people like Grant Rice & BG Bulletwound who have been said to be Regime by themeselves (& Yuk) and they Rap aswell. Like I said though, I'm willing to admit I was wrong, I was simply using Yuk's intro as my "Roster" since I figured, it's coming from the man himself.
As for the Site not working, it probably is something to do with my ISP as it's always saying "Can't Connect To Server" *Shakes Fist At ISP* Keep up the good work though, I love the new SmokeALot site, alot better looking then the old one (before the redesign)... now if only Tech N9ne would redesign his, I swear it's been the same aside from a couple news updates since 2002 :\

Yukmouth pic allegation
editI didn't replaced or overwrite it as you can easily see on the page history of the image (I'm the first and only uploader). And the reason is beacuse I visited the page yesterady and saw the link turned red, so I only put up a new image under the same name. Possibly your old image was deleted because of not having a fair use rational attached to it. That's all I know. No need to thank. Cheers. Lajbi Holla @ me 22:39, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

editPlease stop removing the tags from Image:Pacsnoopsuge.jpg indicating that the image has insufficient rationale and should be shrunk. These are legitimate warnings for this image; it currently only has a rationale for a single article but is used in multiple articles. Remember, you need to resolve the problem before you remove the tags. --Yamla 17:00, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Godzillalogo small.jpg
edit(solved)
Image:Regimeimage1.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Regimeimage1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 17:05, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
RE: COI
editYou said: "This is the second time you have cited me for loose circumstances. All of the individuals you have mentioned I DO NOT Work for but have WORKED WITH on a private contractor basis which is not a conflict of interest since affiliation was never direct boss to worker basis. As an admin you should cite only those issues that present a direct threat to wikipedia. Not loose issue's open to easy interpretation. Also you have cited numerous images that at the time of their uploading did not require any rationale. It is only in the past few months that such things have been required for Logos. I will provide one for each in the coming day So please do not delete them before I have a chance to do so, which you have been known to do in the past."
- You are absolutely correct on most of the images I tagged. I will go through and remove the tags on these images. Please provide a fair-use rationale if it is convenient for you but please accept my apology for those. As to the conflict of interest, I believe this still qualifies as a conflict of interest but you are right, it is much less clear. What is important is that you are aware of this policy and understand it. Please let me know if you have any questions. --Yamla 20:46, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Edit warring
editI'm trying to sort out the situation at the Above the Law article. It looks to me like you've broken 3RR despite being reminded and warned. Diffs: [1] [2] [3] [4]
Is there a reason for editing in this manner? Also, I noticed in your contribs that you wrote in the edit summary, "The omnus is on those trying to remove content." This is in fact not true. Everything must be verifiable and if it isn't, it up to the party wanting to include material to provide a reliable sources and if they are unable to provide a reliable source, the content can be removed. I am considering blocking you for breaching 3rr and disruption on the article and if you have any explanation for this behaviour, I'd appreciate hearing pretty soon. Thanks, Sarah 04:52, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for point that out Sarah. I in fact did provide a reliable source in the article. The source being Big Hutch (Cold 187um), the lead rapper in Above The Law, from an interview partially concerning the creation of G-Funk and how the matter was a big factor in the group's career. It is noteworthy and there is no real reason why Tasco O keeps deleting the information. It is not the first time he has done so with that article and he has threatened me and other members with having us blocked, which since he is not an Administrator he has no power to do. In fact if you check the recent history of my user discussion I deleted a "warning" from him complete with tags that I'm pretty sure goes beyond his boundaries as a member since he is not an admin. It seems he is trying to use fear to keep the article as he sees fit. UDStyle 06:11, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Do you mean this warning [5]? If so, any editor may give any other editor such a warning when appropriate. It would probably have been better to use a lower level warning as the first one, but the warning is not a threat and there is no rule that says that only admins may give warnings. Sarah 06:20, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes that is the one. If I am wrong about who can give warnings like that then I am in error. I however did not like the constant "warnings" from that user towards me when it was not in his power to block me himself and I also noticed he did it numerous times in the edit history tab to other members as well. It seemed more like he was trying to keep edits from being done out of fear of blocking then as a casual friendly heads-up concerning wikipedia policy. However, as to the matter of the content for the article in question, I felt I gave a credible reference from a reliable source pertaining to a noteworthy subject I feel should be included in the article. I don't see it's inclusion as directly opposing wikipedia rules and/or policy. If I am wrong in this matter please inform me as such and I will back off from editing that particular article.

Fair use rationale for Image:Mdmpcover.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Mdmpcover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Smokealotlogo.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Smokealotlogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 01:54, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Oliviahusseyjuliet.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Oliviahusseyjuliet.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 22:44, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
