Speedy deletion nomination of Stuart Styron

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Stuart Styron requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Good morning, the reason creating an article was the wikipedia page on Facebook. Mr. Styron is still present with an broken page. Yesterday i visited the page and wanted to fix it how ever it goes. I already contacted facebook before to delete or fix the problem. It is not a good presentation for Mr. Styron. He is known by many people in our town and state. The page existed already more than 18 Months, also an article. He is doing a lot for our culture and creativity. He is known already by the goverment and other important institutions. On google are still lots of "deleted, broken" wikipedia sites and it is not fair. People are talking about and that not reflect his real personality. There were lots of misunderstandings last year. I already wanted to know what happened. I`m working in a library here in our town and know how often people searching on google for information. The german wikipedia also got confused. There is another women creating still a new article for Styron. She got the information to wait until Styron released his new cd album in december. The administrators gave the positiv feedback for an article after releasing the album. Is there a way to clean up the massiv broken sites? Would you help? Only the redirection from the wikipedia Facebook site to a clean site would be enough. Lots of notable points is given. A small "Biogaph" about the living person Mr. Styron should be enough. Or just a redirection to an extern site. Would you help doing it? Here is the link :Wikipedia Facebook Styron and here the actual site Fanpage Styron. This I found on google: Deleted wikisite Deleted site and more... Is there a way to fix or delete them or anything else? Please check the results on google also, he is not really famous, but in some ways notable or interesting. Thank you. Ulla1956 (talk)

I'm sorry but Mr. Styron doesn't seem to be notable. Please don't recreate the page, it'll be deleted. You may start in German Wikipedia if Mr. Styron is notable in Germany.Xx236 (talk) 12:31, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have to select reliable sources and write the article. Stuart Styron (* 1975 in Arnsberg) is a German actor and musician. is not an article. Xx236 (talk) 14:00, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

No, you have to give time to create it. You writing "doesn't seem to be notable". So, don`t react aggressive and give people a chance. The last administrator was a big aggressor. Don`t forget that wikipedia belongs to nobody. Stuart Styron is notable for "Living People", so let me create the page and we`ll see. In german wikipedia , there is already an article in work.Ulla1956 12:44, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

It is a resonce of your way of working. You are surfing here around and playing god, not knowing what the situation is. First talk and connect, not deleting aggressiv. Think about it. I do not have accept this. Be gentle and take your time for the people, not pushing here your carreer. Do not underrate people I know the psychologic of wikipedians. So, let`s talk about your talent here and explain why Stuart Styron is NOT notable. You must check deeper, not pushing 2 Buttuns on your computer and watch in the past. They deleted his page and all links are broken, who will fix the desaster? Thats not fair and thats a problem of wiki. So pay attention, this is not funny.Ulla1956 15:30, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Ulla1956,
I recommend you work on articles in your sandbox area where they will not be vulnerable to speedy deletion as long as you do not violate certain key principles like respecting copyright restrictions. While you are working on an article in your sandbox, you can work on translation, providing reliable sources and having a high quality of writing. When you believe it is ready to be moved into Wikipedia space, submit it to Articles for Creation for review by an experienced editor. If you have any questions, please visit the Teahouse where the hosts can answer your questions. Liz Read! Talk! 15:58, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

First, Ulla1956, do not make legal threats involving lawyers or your account will be blocked WP:NLT.
Secondly, if you would like the deleted page material placed in your sandbox as suggested above, you only need to ask. Liz Read! Talk! 16:11, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you purposefully and blatantly harass a fellow Wikipedian again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Hi, you've shown a history of harassing Wikipedia editors and attempts at bullying and page ownership. This is absolutely not acceptable. It appears you've been given slack in the past as you are a new editor (as seen by leaving comments at the top of a page and leaving talk page comments on a user page instead of a user talk page). Please review the warnings and links to Wikipedia policies that have been given here on your talk page; if you have questions, feel free to ask here and others should be able to point you in the right direction. Messages like this indicate a misunderstanding of the Wikipedia community and the established practices- it isn't an anarchy. tedder (talk) 18:18, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello tedder, I will tell you now something about my position, my thoughts and feelings.
Since yesterday, I`m fighting working on an article. I know that is a hard way, but I have to do it. Please check all discussions, than you get the right point why I`m doing this. Every hour one wikipedian visits the brandnew article and starting to delete everything. I even did not start and working finding the right words and in same time there is another one and wants to destroy the page. Why? Why someone is not cooperating and help out, give a chance? Most of them are extremly aggressive and do not a gentle nice work. They all take a walk around the wiki world and search for chances to get bigger. Do you think I am silly? They all doing a fast work..one of them deleted every 2 minutes an article! Thats what I saw later.
"Is not notable"..this is not enough. Must talk about and find options how doing the article. Do you understand what I`m talking? Look at Stuart Styron`s wiki page..they destroyed it and after 1 Year there are lots of broken sites and links on google about that. Thats not fair. He had the page more than 18 Months! If he did not had it before than would be okay, but lots of people knows him and are confused. The admins wrote that he is a fake and a paid seller! And all these things are public for everyone! Never get it from the index. Thats why I have to help out and clean a little bit. Only wikip. can do that.
And at least, this worker of the wiki family came to my site and deleted elsewell aggressiv without sending a message! And this guy was blocked! He had not the right to work on articles! So, I think it`s not difficult to understand my feelings and position. How I react, is how I react. The same way not more and less than that liar of wikipedia who was looking for Destruction! All workers here doing what they want. No one can really controll this and that is dangerous. Deleting a site is not funny. People thinking negative about it. It damage the image. That brings lot of the rumors and is dangerous.

Wiki must be responsible for clean up all datas when that happened. But who is wikipedia? We are all wikipedia, so take a listen, when someone got a serious problem. Ulla1956 18:56, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Those aren't valid reasons. Please read what Wikipedia stands for. There are mechanisms of how this works. "We are all wikipedia" may be true but it doesn't mean you can circumvent the rules. tedder (talk) 19:50, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at Stuart Styron, you may be blocked from editing. —Wasell(T) 10:09, 3 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
