Many thanks for your query regarding this article. I would suggest reading Wikipedia:Spam, as this page covers the basics. In particular, articles which are written in the first person (singular or plural) tend to read like adverts (for example "we do this..." or "our company does that..."). In addition to that, sentences which state how great or amazing a person or product is will read like advertising copy. Wikipedia strives to maintain a neutral point of view; articles should therefore be written factually so that the reader can make his or her mind up about the virtue of the subject of the article.

To back up any assertions made in an article, good inline references should be supplied; these should be from sources other than the subject's own website, or entries in social networking sites such as MySpace or Facebook. Good references will also help to establish notability, another problem encountered when writing biographical articles.

"hangon" tag

One part of this is easy. The {{hangon}} template places any page it is added to on the Category: Candidates for Speedy Deletion. So if your talk page had that hangon tag, it showed up in that deletion queue, even though no deletion tag was placed on it.

the second part is that I removed what appeared to be an article on your talk page. It wasn't "deleted", you may go into the page history to get it. If you feel that the subject is notable and you need time to improve it (add sources, change it so that it doesn't appear to be promotional), then you can create a sub-page like User:Unleaded Software/Jeffrey Raval and work on it there. There is no rule that says you can't work on it in your talk page, but it may be confusing to other users.

I notice the article was already deleted as advertising. If you need a copy of an old revision to work on yourself, then you can leave me another message and I will create one for you. I would like to defend the posting Dr. Jeffrey Raval that was marked for immediate deletion. I would like to edit the article to include verifiable citation and I would like to delete anything that could be considered "blatant advertising," including the link to Dr. Raval's website. Dr. Raval is truly a pioneer in the aesthetic industry. Please advise me on how I can change the information so it can be reposted and the speedy deletion tag removed. Speedy deletion of Dr. Jeffrey Raval

Hiya, welcome to Wikipedia! Basically, you have to list sources according to the instructions here, and specifically, demonstrate that the person in question (which mustn't be you!) is notable.
