COMPASS-2

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of COMPASS-2, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.raum-test.fh-aachen.de. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:16, 9 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the COMPASS-2 article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. W. D. Graham 16:56, 26 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand your problem. We already took down the homepage so that the search-bot doesn't grumble. I also allowed Wikipedia using the text as you mentioned by releasing its content. That was before we took down the homepage. What else can I do now? UnoiCsmZpTlkinrmKACc (talk) 06:10, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
The problem is that you haven't previously told us that you own the copyright. If that is the case, all you need to do is prove that you do own it, and are willing to release it under a compatible licence. You can do this in one of two ways; the preferred method would be to put your website back online, and include a statement releasing the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License, or alternatively releasing it into the public domain. If you cannot do this, or do not want to, you can instead email permissions-en@wikimedia.org from an email address associated with your website (i.e. one ending in fh-aachen.de), confirming that you are licensing the content appropriately. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information. --W. D. Graham 08:09, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Done. I just wait for an answer/ the result now. Just let me know if you have any further questions or if I made other mistakes. I'm still not sure if I have done everything in the right way. UnoiCsmZpTlkinrmKACc (talk) 10:07, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
