Plans for Negativity Bias article:

Lindsey and Brandi plan to restructure the organization of the Negativity Bias article. They plan to add additional sources, citations, and information. They hope to provide examples and explanations for Negativity Bias. Lindsey and Brandi will lengthen the article as a whole by including a history of the subject, prior research, recent developments, and consequences of Negativity Bias. Lindsey and Brandi want to add images to the article including: pictures, graphs, and charts. The article will be lengthened, but only with factually accurate information and not including any unnecessary information, so that the article will remain clear and concise. In order for viewers to gain more information, Lindsey and Brandi will add links within the article to other Wikipedia pages as well as additional off-site references. Below is a brief list of what Lindsey and Brandi plan to accomplish.


1. Restructure the organization of the page.

4. Add additional references to other Wikipedia pages

5. Add history of subject

6. Add factually accurate information

7. Include citations

8. Lengthen the article, but without writing anything unnecessary

Lindsey and Brandi will structure the Negativity Bias article by means of the outline below. They will begin the article with a definition and description of Negativity Bias. They will include a contents box that further explains the components of the article. Then, Lindsey and Brandi will discuss the history of Negativity Bias and include earlier theories and prior research in this section. After the history, they will write about practical applications including examples and explanations. Next, they will talk about related effects and consequences of Negativity Bias. Additionally, Lindsey and Brandi will discuss recent developments of Negativity Bias which will lead into what future research can discover and questions that psychologists still face. The last part of the article includes the essentials criteria for concluding an article.
