Disambiguation link notification for August 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Barnet and Camden (London Assembly constituency), a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jenny Jones was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:56, 24 August 2026 (UTC)

GLA/London Assembly flags
[edit]Hello, I have undone several edits as you added the Coat of arms of Greater London to articles where the flag was not in use at the time. Please see MOS:FLAG for more details of why this is not appropriate. Thanks! Turini2 (talk) 10:19, 9 September 2026 (UTC)
- The flags were added using "Country = London" within the template, which is equivalent to what 2025 New York City Council election uses. It was removed because London is not a country. I added them back with a slightly different arrangement ("Country = United Kingdom", flag_image = File:Flag of Greater London.svg").
- I do not care much either way, but it seemed strange that MOS:SOVEREIGNFLAG would be enforced against London, but not New York City (2025 New York City Council election), or Wales (2026 Senedd election) or a number of other entities. Removing it because it was not used at the time is a justification I will not dispute, and I am not going to take issue with it. It is a much better justification than the sovereignty point. - The 2028 London mayoral election can have a flag :) Turini2 (talk) 08:42, 10 September 2026 (UTC)
