He claims to have a doctorate and several other degrees, none in music.

Michael does not "claim" to have a doctorate degree, Michael DOES have a Doctorate degree in Biblical Education from Gwinnett - Hall Baptist College and Seminary (http://www.gwinnetthallbc.com)

Seems incredulous to state someone "knows you very well" when you've never even actually met them, as per your statement on the Notable Usenet Personalities talk page. MES's actual known musical performance background includes participation in drum & bugle corps in the late 1970s to early '80's (he never marched a complete season with an open class corps)

"Editor" also failed to mention that Michael also marched in two D.C.I. World class drum and bugle corps, North Star in 1981, and Spirit of Atlanta in 1982.

Michael E. Schmidt joined North Star well after the season started. He quit Spirit of Atlanta before finals. Therefore, he never marched a complete season. rlrr (talk) 14:22, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Michael was a member and soloist for the Florida Bible College Brass Ensemble (1982-1984) http://www.floridabiblecollege.com, was a soloist for the Liberty University Spirit of the Mountain Marching Band. Michael was a soloist for the late Dr. Jerry Falwell at Thomas Road Church who has opened revivals as a trumpet soloist for Dr. Charles Hughes and Dr. Jerry Falwell of Liberty University. Michael has opened for many famous Christian artists such as Young Harmony and the Speer Family. Michael has played back up trumpet for D.C. Talk star Michael Tait, and Dove award winner Squire Parsons. Michael has served as a Chaperon (1998), and Chaplain (1998-1999) for the Spirit of America National Honor Band under the direction of Dr. George Naff who once said:

" the National Honor Band sounds beautiful, as great as I can ever remember them sounding " after Michael had helped rehearse them.

Michael is the founding President , and is the trumpet soloist for the Trumpet of the Lord Ministry, the # 3 Christian trumpet ministry

From your comments above, I can understand why you might feel aggrieved. However repeated reverts and edit warring are not the way to fix this. In particular, as you've just noticed, repeated reversions will merely get you blocked. I note that you didn't use {{unblock}} to request unblocking for your comment above, but even if you had done so, complaining about the content is unlikely to have reversed what's a legit block. You were blocked for breaking the WP:3RR policy, not for your views about the content! It's about behaviour, not censorship.
