Do you have a life?
editDo you have a life or do you just sit in a room 24/7 defending neera tanden’s wiki article? or are you being paid to do so? Jomalleyp (talk) 21:20, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
Please stop the personal attacks User1956a (talk) 21:33, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
please stop being a paid page supervisor thanks Jomalleyp (talk) 21:42, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
- Hey there User1956a this is your talk page, so you should feel free to remove unconstructive trollery like the above. In fact, you can take anything off your talk page that you don't want there. (I periodically throw out bot notices etc.) Hey there Jomalleyp, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that volunteers (including User1956a and probably also you) are trying to improve. Attacking other editors is a way to get yourself sanctioned or banned, in which case you can't work on improving the encyclopedia. So quit it. HouseOfChange (talk) 22:05, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
user1956a is actively disrupting people who are tryint to improve wikipedia with additional factual and cited evidence. its pretty clear they lost their objectivity with their 24/7 persistent and unreasonable defense of neera but go ahead and keep telling them its okay to lose your objectivity and show bias Jomalleyp (talk) 22:14, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
- Jomalleyp If you want to improve Wikipedia, start by learning some policies like WP:PA: "Do not make personal attacks anywhere on Wikipedia. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks harm the Wikipedia community and the collegial atmosphere needed to create a good encyclopedia. Derogatory comments about other editors may be removed by any editor." Then get to work finding reliable nonpartisan sources to support facts you think should be in articles and then write up those facts in a neutral way. Posting insults on people's talk pages does zero to improve Wikipedia and makes you look foolish. HouseOfChange (talk) 04:27, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
Conflict of interest
editHello, User1956a. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. PailSimon (talk) 16:39, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
